The camper was in good condition and we enjoyed it while we had it. However, next time I come to Scotland, I definitely won’t be renting a camper because they are too big to drive comfortably on most roads over there. And unless you have a decent amount of experience with campers/motorhomes, I wouldn’t recommend doing Scotland with one. Gordon was great and reasonable. That being said, Tricia was also mostly reasonable. The only thing was that she asked me to send her more money on top of what I already paid because I was a United States driver and that’s what the insurance required, but I had already put down nearly $5K (about $1.5K for the actual rental and about $3K for security deposit) and apparently that didn’t cover some random insurance thing? I would say the camper cost more than it was worth. That’s just my opinion. But I can almost say that it is objectively too small for 4 adults to sleep in. We were a group of three guys, all about 6’. I would say it was just a little too small for the three of us but we made it work. All in all, Tricia and Gordon are good people. The whole camper idea just didn’t work out as well as we thought it would.

Hi Caleb thank you for your business firstly and sorry you felt the autotrail 55 adventure was to big for your rental , we definitively don't get that response from other customers and we have ten on the fleet , In-fact people who hire love the space of this 6m long van with full toilet and hot water shower and that its is just the same size as any fiat ducatio that amazon drivers use , I guess in this instance a smaller van like our vw california may have worked better for you at only 5m in length but the same width as a ducatio but this would have been even smaller for the three of you . Ref the payment I would check back at 1500 hundred dollars this will also included Insurance for non uk Driver License holder more than one drive and all your bedding packs .Your Insurance excess is always held on your card not actually taken from your card and is not 3000 dollars , it is £1250 GBP (and again not taken unless you damage the camper when you are renting it and responsible for looking after it ) Upstairs is a great size for those over 6ft .
