Pire expérience de location de van (j'en fais tous les étés). Annonce mensongère sur le nombre de places : Le van est loué pour 5 couchages (c'est d'ailleurs la seule raison pour laquelle nous nous sommes adressé à lui , toutes les agences sérieuses ne proposaient pas davantage que 4 couchages). En réalité, la tente sur le toit est conçue pour deux adultes et un enfants (manque de chance nous sommes 5 adultes), il n'y a pas de couchage prévu à l'intérieur du van (comme nous l'imaginions naïvement), et une tente en mauvais état sert de prétexte pour annoncer 2 places supplémentaires. À ce compte-là, n'importe qui peut remplir le coffre de sa voiture avec 10 tentes et la louer en annonçant 30 couchages... Remise des clés : Joe a été d'emblée sec par message, et s'est montré d'une intransigeance sans pitié quand nous avons traversé une situation très compliquée. Pour dire un mot du contexte, un problème dentaire m'a contraint à arriver 2 jours après le début de la réservation, laissant ma famille sans solution sur place car la réservation était à mon nom (et je comprends tout à fait que ma présence soit nécessaire sur un plan administratif). Lorsque j'arrive enfin le deuxième jour, mon avion avait du retard. Je fais le maximum pour aller vite et prends le premier taxi (45 min. D'après ses dire, il était proche de l'aéroport : autre approximation mensongère...). En chemin, je préviens Joe, mais il se montre intraitable sur le fait qu'il doive partir à 18h pétante et ne s'occupera pas de moi après 17h40 (ces horaires ne sont indiqués nulle part sur le site). Ma famille était sur place depuis 1h. Il pouvait tout à fait commencer à leur montrer le van (surtout que nous étions deux chauffeurs), je signais les papiers, et l'affaire était réglée avant 18h. Mais il refuse catégoriquement le moindre arrangement. Lorsque j'arrive à 17h45, il s'en va, laissant là une famille sur le carreau et ma mère désespérée. Heureusement, le chauffeur de taxi, qui a fait son maximum, est adorable et se charge de nous trouver un logement abordable. Le lendemain, Joe dit être débordé, me fait signer deux papiers, me donne les clés du van, et se contente de nous indiquer le lien d'une vidéo sur YouTube expliquant le fonctionnement du van. Trouver un endroit où camper n'est pas toujours évident, nous avons eu des spots extraordinaire et d'autres beaucoup moins, ce n'est pas aussi simple que dans les pays nordiques. Je recommande de réserver les campings à l'avance. Gros bémol : la météo, même en août (les Highlands sont beaucoup plus venteux et pluvieux qu'Edimbourg. Cet inconvénient a été exacerbé par les conditions de couchage du van), nous avons de plus affronté la tempête Floris... ; et les midges, qui nous ont carrément contraint à abandonner un spot, et gâché quelques autres. Je recommande les filets de têtes (dispos au Décathlon d'Edimbourg).

It was a poor experience from the beginning. The manager of the company wanted to refuse us as too many people, no matter we wrote prior and the car had the needed seats, claiming Goboony is “just a platform” and no having time to read messages. After much trouble we finally got the car. We got none introduction to the car - the manager claimed to have an appointment -, and were referred to a video instead. The car was in very poor condition, the rooftop tent molding, the whole interior smelly and the equipment dirty. Driving felt very unsafe and every day we found new things broken. Return was a horrible experience of being asked to clean the already clean and kept waiting. We cannot at all recommend this campervan or the company!

so its the same again - people book on this platform with an individual but then expect the services of a company / you didn't book with a company .
The vehicle they booked states it sleeps 4 person and they turn up with 6 persons and were surprised they were questioned on it . I mean who does that ? just turns up wiyj more people than it says it sleeps ????
the van didn't break down - they did big milage - and no issues but yet they want to leave 1 star review . It says everything about the people as they pay hardly anything for the van anyway - but of course expect VIP.
Yes you have to return the kitchen equipment clean - just as it was at the start . we dont wash up for you .. the cool box was filthy and you behaved like child when we told you it need cleaning ! are you not an adult ?
perhaps start to get realistic with your expectation. and you book with a budget car why you expect a new VIP one ?

Spend a little more money elsewhere and get a modern more reliable van. Am not going to slate the company but I will not book with them again. Van did its job but owner is very argumentative and rude

hello Robert. - we are sorry that you say that .
we understand you were not happy to pay for extra cleaning because the van was returned with allot of dog hair and our pet policy which you were reminded of 4 times is 0 pet hair at end.
we understand you tried to remove it yourself but the fact of matte was there was allot of dog hair and as we say on all our documents - you will be charged,
it took 2 cleaners 2 hours to clean the van and you were charged 25 pounds.
we cant accept vehciles returned with dog hair - we dont charge to take pets but you need to respect the rules and ensure it was as you promised.
we understand you are leaving bad reviews all over for us but who is really at fault here ? perhaps you should be more honest in your promise .

Car was exactly as described and fantastic to use. Jo was very friendly and was happy to talk me through everything and answered any questions we had promptly throughout the trip. Would definitely recommend to others.

The motor home was exactly what we needed for this trip - plenty of room for lots, there was 4 of us and 1 small child and we all fitted along with luggage, tents, sleeping bags and blankets and pillows! We didn’t actually use the tent box as we didn’t need it but the van was perfect for us all to be comfortable during a 9 hour drive to Cornwall! Very easy to drive too as it’s automatic!
