Kara facilitated collection of the Motorhome from the train station. Handover was completed and there were no issues whatsoever with our hire. Had a great look round Scotland and enjoyed the flexibility of wild camping with the solar power. Worth noting tall people may find there’s not Mush room with the bed length! Juli 2025

We recently hired Shroomie to take on the NC500 and had a fantastic experience overall. The handover was smooth, and Kara gave us all the information we needed to get started, along with a really helpful instruction pack for the van. She was in great communication before and during the trip, and was always available by phone if we had any questions. We spent 3 out of 4 nights wild camping, and Shroomie was well set up for it. It had plenty of power and water for off-grid use, and the fridge and storage were more than enough for our needs. There was even enough floor space for our dog and her bed, and the outdoor tap was a great addition for us and super handy for rinsing her off . Inside, the cab was spacious and comfortable, making long drives much easier. The bed mattress was very comfortable, and clean bedding was provided, which was a really nice touch. One thing to note is that the bed is a little short for anyone over 5.2", and there are overhead cupboards above the bed, which we found ourselves bumping our heads on more than once—something to watch out for. It’s also worth knowing that the onboard water isn't drinking water, so we had to buy bottled water for drinking and cooking. The waste water from the sink and shower is collected outside the van in a bucket, which worked fine but is something to be aware of. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use the shower or awning, so can’t comment on those features. That said, Shroomie was incredibly easy to drive, even as someone who’s never driven anything larger than a car before. If you're thinking of doing the NC500, we’d definitely recommend this camper—just consider giving yourself more time to take it all in at a slower pace! Juli 2025

Shroomie and I had the most amazing 4 days up north. She’s spacious, clean, easy to navigate, great on fuel and so comfortable to drive. Kara was extremely accommodating, explained everything on picking Shroomie up and was available if you needed advice for any issues (which thankfully I never had). I would recommend to anyone and will also have no qualms with booking Shroomie again. Thank you so much Kara! Maart 2025

Shroomie was absolutely amazing! With everything you need for a great time away. We spent 8 nights travelling around the NC 500 and loved the van so much. We were off grid most of the nights and Shroomie was perfect for that. Kata was such a lovely host and even gave us Prosecco and treats for our trip! Highly recommended 🤩 Juli 2024
