Le van, simple mais efficace, cependant un clignotant qui ne fonctionne pas , des problèmes avec l'eau chaude , mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de prendre du bon temps .

We chose this van in particular for its size, which is perfectly suited to narrow single track roads and winding roads; it turned out to be perfectly tailored. It is also equipped with super tires that are very comfortable for roads in various conditions. The interior layout is well thought out to allow you to spend time in the van without stepping on each other. Everything is very modern and functional! A big thank you to Martin and John for their flexibility, advice and availability throughout our road trip, we would rent the same van again if we had to do it again!

Ik ben met mijn zus naar Schotland geweest. De overdracht werd door iemand anders dan John gedaan, dit ging prima. Het ging wel wat snel allemaal, vooral als je de camper nooit van binnen hebt gezien. We hadden onderweg wat problemen met het gas en John heeft meegedacht en van alles op afstand geprobeerd. Dat waardeerden we echt. Met hulp is alles goed gekomen.

Nous avons pu profiter de notre voyage pendant deux semaines avec le Van bien équipé de John conçu pour les routes d'Écosse L'équipe de John nous a pris en charge aussi bien a l'aller qu au retour c'est un vrai plus Quelques petits ajustements remonter a John pour améliorer encore son Van Mais globalement nous avons pu affronter les rudes routes et le temps d Ecosse sans de difficulté et avec la chaleur humaine des écossais ce qui a permis un séjour et une expérience qui restera innoubliable pour nous Merci

There were afew small issues wi the house side of the camper but over all the van ran very well, l done alot of niles in it, the guys who handled the take over and return were very good.
From the management side, l feel they could have been been abit more sorted.
I paid the van in total neally 2 months before l picked it up but was asked afew times again for information that l had already given.
Also after l had left tae travel, 2 months after settlement l was sent papers in email tae fill out at van collection., how can l be doing that once lm in a place where who knows where a printer scanner is.
That should have been sent out on settlement.

We booked the Wee beastie for a week and it was an amazing experience! The Van is perfectly suited for 2 people. Large enough to live/sleep dine comfortable, but still small enough to navigate the small roads of the NC500. John and Martin were great hosts and were always reachable for questions and help!

The handover went well, although John wasn't available. Jan talked us through the do's and don'ts although he said that he had never shown this particular campervan before. Fortunately we were with friends that had their own campervan, so they were able to help us. However the manual was really helpful as it's a lot to take in. We travelled to the Western Isles and down to Benbecula. We loved our trip in the campervan so much that we are considering buying one of our own. The van had everything you need, really comfortable bed and very easy to drive. We had our reservations about the bench seats having to be made into the bed every night, however it was worth the effort as it gave us more room during the day. A small doormat would be a welcome addition to help keep the van clean.

We had a magnificent trip with ‘the beast of the east ‘ campervan of John and Martin. We rented it for two weeks and stayed more than a week on Skye. It is not too big and so suitable for the narrow roads. John and Martin are very friendly and helpful, arranging a late turnover at the start and bringing us to the trainstation at the end.

Had a fantastic week in the wee beastie, travelling down and around England; Beamish, Cheeky Chicken Cottage, Harry Potter Studio Tour London, Diddly Squat Farm, the Cotswolds, Chester Zoo and Blackpool. Great driving van, spotlessly clean, comfy bed and plenty storage. John was lovely to deal with in the booking process and when we went to collect the van Martin was a really nice guy, super informative and really enthusiastic and our trip which was great, got us off to a nice start. Will most definitely hire this van again and would highly recommend anyone to do the same. Thanks guys!

We had such a great roadtrip with the Wee Beastie! First of all, Martin gave us really nice welcome and all the important information and we got the same treatment also on the return of the van (also his colleague John is a super nice guy!). We did not have any issue with the van, everything worked fine and the equipment was perfect for our roadtrip. Out of 7 nights we only stayed twice in the campings to get the proper shower, empty the grey water and toilet etc. but you could easily stay off grid all the time! If we ever come back to Scotland, we know who to contact;)
