We had a lovely time discovering all the beauty of Scotland with this amazing motorhome. It had everything we needed to enjoy the highlands to its fullest for two weeks. It was really easy and comfortable to drive this van. What we loved about this van is that we could camp anywhere in nature easily for couple of days, because of the big LPG and watertank. Especially the lpg, after using everything, heating, warm water and cooking, you can still go for lots of days! We loved to wake up next to lochs and mountains and have our morning coffee to enjoy the views. We also really enjoyed cooking and having cozy nights in the van with the heating on to keep us warm (very convenient on the colder nights in September). The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed, is specious and also really nice to have a stove, oven and a grill! The bed was very comfortable and had lots of space for two people. If you are tall you can easily fit here too. The bed can converted very easy into a couch with table for if we wanted to have dinner inside. Mostly we sat outside under the awning with the chairs and the same table you can use both for inside and outside. Also very nice there’s a small bathroom that has a toilet, sink and shower with warm water! The reservation, pick up and bring back was also really smooth because Mel and Annie are super easy and chill in communication. We felt really welcomed. They love and take super good care of their van, and they really want others to enjoy that as well. They loved to hear we had such a lovely time in their home on weels. We really recommend to discover all the beauty Scotland has to offer in this amazing motorhome of Mel and Annie. We can’t wait to be back one day! Thanks for everything. Oktober 2026

Annie & Mel have been really nice with us from the booking to the drop off. We had a Lovely trip in their Campervan around Scotland. The area to pick up the van is really easy to rich from Edinburgh center and they can provide sheets and duvets, a helpful service for Backpackers. Augustus 2026

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ENGLISH We simply do not have enough words to thank Mel and Annie for this incredible experience. From the very first contact, they were absolutely wonderful. They explained everything with patience, kindness and professionalism. Before our trip, they sent us detailed videos that made everything easy to understand and gave us confidence from day one. When we collected the motorhome, we immediately felt welcomed and cared for. Mel and Annie treated us with such warmth and kindness that they felt more like family than rental hosts. Throughout the entire trip, they were always available whenever we had a question, responding quickly and helpfully. That level of support is invaluable when travelling through remote places such as Orkney and Shetland. The motorhome was spotless and performed perfectly throughout our journey. Everything worked exactly as explained, and the collection and return process was smooth and stress-free. The motorhome was excellent, but what truly made the difference was Mel and Annie. Their kindness, support and genuine care gave us complete confidence throughout the entire trip. Thanks to Mel and Annie, we enjoyed what was truly the trip of a lifetime. We returned home with unforgettable memories, and their support, professionalism and genuine care played a huge part in making that happen. Un voyage qui vaut le détour! Vraiment magnifique. Nous remercions encore Annie et Mel pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et aussi, leurs conseils avisés concernant les lieux sublimes à aller visiter. Le motorhome est vraiment bien agencé et équipé. Il ne manque rien pour partir durant plusieurs semaines. C'est vraiment le moyen idéal pour faire le tour de l'Ecosse. Le lit est vraiment confortable et permet de récupérer aisément. Tout est vraiment bien pensé à l'intérieur. D'ailleurs, sans utilisation du chauffage en fin de journée ni nuit, la capacité de gaz permet de tenir des semaines. Futurs locataires, vous pouvez vraiment partir l'esprit tranquille !! What a trip!! A huge thank you to Mel and Annie for their kindness and availability, which made our experience in beautiful Scotland truly unforgettable. Their van is very easy to drive and perfectly equipped with everything you need to fully enjoy a trip for two. Over 7 days, we only needed one refill for water, diesel, and gas, which made the journey even more convenient. I highly recommend this experience — the van has absolutely everything you need. Mel and Annie took the time to explain all the features clearly and were always available if needed. Scotland is an amazing and easy destination for a first campervan experience — definitely something to do at least once! Thanks again! April 2026

We had a brilliant 9-day road trip with Mel & Annie's Warwick Duo, from Edinburgh up through Glen Coe, the Cairngorms, Inverness, the Applecross peninsula and over to the Isle of Skye, and we can't recommend them highly enough. The van itself is lovingly maintained and perfectly set up for Scotland in early April. The dual gas/electric heating kept us cosy through nights near zero, the layout is genuinely thoughtful, and every system, from water and gas to the fridge and electrics, worked exactly as described. From a pull-off in front of the Three Sisters in Glen Coe, to a sunrise camp on the Trotternish moorland near the Quiraing, to a sea-loch view above Plockton, the van took us absolutely everywhere we wanted to go without complaint. You can tell this isn't a fleet rental but their own home-from-home, and it shows in every detail. The handover in Edinburgh was thorough, warm, and unrushed. Mel walked us through every system with real care, so we left with zero question marks and complete confidence on day one. What really sets Mel & Annie apart is how they show up when something unexpected happens. Late in the trip we spotted that a small water pipe had developed a leak from a mounting clip rubbing against the tubing over time. Classic wear-and-tear, nothing dramatic. Mel was on it within minutes: clear-headed, solution-focused, zero drama. We agreed together to return the van a day early so he could fix it properly at home, and he even offered us a bed for the night in the most generous way imaginable. The same care continued well after the trip. When the one-day refund got stuck in administrative limbo, Mel & Annie chased the matter on our behalf for weeks, with patience and grace, and at one point even offered to absorb a £25 international bank fee themselves rather than let us wait any longer. That level of integrity is genuinely rare and tells you everything you need to know about hosting with them. The van came home clean, refuelled with both diesel and LPG, and beautifully equipped, the way we received it. Mel & Annie are lovely people who treat their renters as partners rather than customers. If you're heading to Scotland in a campervan, book with them with complete confidence. We'd do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you both for a trip we'll be talking about for years to come. Mel and Annie were the best. Friendly, accommodating, and thorough. I'd do this again with them without hesitation. For the way we used it, their campervan was perfect. It is so well thought out - just a great design that lets you be comfortable in minutes at each stop. It has integrated privacy screens in the front windows that fold out in seconds - a considerable advantage to those that have to wrap the windows with an exterior privacy screen when you consider Scottish weather. Dual gas/electric heating and hot water (we went into the highlands in early November and were always comfortable). The heat does innevatibly heat the hot water, so if you're ok with doing the dishes in the morning, you don't have to dedicate gas or electic to hot water heating. The fridge runs off of 3 sources: engine, AC power, and gas and the freezer portion kept a pint of ice cream frozen the entire time. On an 8 day trip, we only ended up using less than 20% of the LP gas tank and only paid 5 pounds to refill it (1 GBP / Liter). Now that I have a feel for this, if I did it again I'd use more gas for heat and would have been less concerned with switching the fridge to use the engine alternator. My favorite part was the stove/oven/broiler. Scottish grocery stores have good options for ready-to-cook soups and entries. So on nights where a pub wasn't an easy option, we'd make a lasagna, soup and warm bread, or a mushroom marscapone pizza. I couldn't have have made these meals any better in my home, save maybe just a slightly slower warm up time. The bed is comfortable. We slept well every night. Little things like a phone holder for navigating and cell phone chargers were already installed. That said, if you're from the States I would always have an alert navigator and maybe avoid driving at night. Most of the Scottish roads we traveled on were very dark, very narrow, and often change drastically in seconds, including going thru areas that are only wide enough for a single vehicle. The van drives well. In 8 days we drove about 1200 miles in the highlands and I think we spent 160 pounds on diesel (@ 1.40/L I think?) My wife and I think this was our best vacation to date after 30 years together, and we credit Mel & Annie's camper and service with a big part of that. November 2025

Nous sommes deux jeunes français et avons loué le van 1 semaine pour notre première expérience en van aménagé. C'était fantastique ! Le van est très fonctionnel, il ne manque de rien, tant dans sa conception que dans le matériel qu'il comporte. Nous avions pris l'option literie et serviettes puisque nous sommes venus en avion. La douche intérieure et l'eau chaude sont bien agréables pour l'automne. Melvin et Annie ont bien pris le temps de nous montrer TOUTES les spécificités du van avant de prendre la route. Ils se sont même rendus disponible pendant le voyage pour d'autres questions. Ce sont des personnes formidables que nous recommandons vivement ! November 2025
