Met Julian’s wife who easily handled the handover. She showed us the ins and outs of their lovely VW camper. And then off we went in Betty on our first ever camper van experience, a week in Wales at 3 different campsites. The van is amazing, easy to drive, fuel efficient and everything works just as it should. We lived, ate and slept in the van for 6 days and nights. Electric hookups and off-grid were a breeze. Firstly thank you to Julian for allowing us to take better on the NC500 trip. We had the best time. Betty is a beautiful van and when we picked her up, she was in immaculate condition. The handover was great as was the return. Betty is great on diesel and a real pleasure to sleep in on the evenings.. We really hope still another trip and better next year. We really enjoyed our first experience of camper van life in Julian’s van! It had everything we needed and was pristine and great to drive. The handover was easy and everything explained and we are grateful to have been able to hire it for the weekend, It is definitely making us consider buying our own! Thank you! Mei 2025

What a wonderful time we had in Julian's fantastic VW Campervan! He was the perfect person to hire from for our first GoBoony experience, following being let down at the last minute by another. The van is one of the nicest examples we have seen and wish we had seen it prior to booking the other one. This is a high spec van, made all the better by all of the equipment and items Julian provides to make sure you have everything you need for your campervan experience. Julian was so helpful and responsive, replying promptly to our queries. He also provided us with lots of extra information about all the equipment and items on the van, how everything worked. This was so useful for us as we had not been away in a VW campervan for a long time. The handover was great, as was the drop-off. The van was spotlessly clean and ready to go. We were talked through the paperwork and then took the time to show us how everything worked on the van until we felt confident. If you feel the cold, a quick blast of the VW's diesel heater in the evening got things warm and cosy in no time. Julian's van is in a great location for exploring some areas of outstanding beauty. We picked up the van and travelled up to the NC500 and back, circa 1300 miles in total, and the van behaved impeccably. We were sorry to have to give it back!
