My daughter and I hired Garuda for a 6 night adventure around Cornwall with Misty my Grandpup. The van is very easy to drive and extremely economical on fuel. We stayed off grid the whole time and with the journeys each day and the solar panel the battery stayed above 85% the whole time. Kathy is simply wonderful with all the help she provides and such a welcoming face and attitude. Nothing was too much trouble. She was on hand all the time even 'out of hours' when we had an issue. So much is provided in the van to help make your stay the best. lots of little extras that make your stay so special. The sheets you fill in prior are really fabulous to help you gauge what you need to bring and what is already there for you. Misty loved borrowing Gems piggy toy so much so that we now have to get her one to go with her sheep and moo. :-D We would definitely book with Kathy again. Highly recommend. Oktober 2025

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Campervan Experience! We had an amazing time hiring this campervan – it had absolutely everything we needed for our trip away. The van was super comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for both off-grid and campsite camping. Whether we were parked up in the middle of nature or staying at a site, the van made the whole experience effortless and enjoyable. Kathy, the owner, was incredible from start to finish. She made sure we had all the essentials and was so friendly and welcoming. Her knowledge really showed – she even gave us some fantastic tips on places to visit that we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. Couldn’t recommend this more – if you’re looking for a reliable van and a hassle-free adventure, this is the one! Oktober 2025

Kathy was very good to deal with. She showed us how to use everything in the motorhome which made it easier with our holiday. We went through the forms before and after we used the van and everything was explained perfectly. I did have trouble with Gibson's at the end of the trip with a glitch in their system. The system was telling me I owed 450 pound, but it should have only been 50 pound. This was fixed after a couple of days and I was then able to approve the 50 pound to come out of the deposit. All in all everything thing else went smoothly. Augustus 2025

We hired Kathy’s van for Glastonbury and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Kathy was fantastic — incredibly helpful, responsive, and thorough. The handover process was detailed and informative, and no question was too much trouble. Before collecting the van, we completed a questionnaire which really helped clarify what was included, and Kathy even offered thoughtful extras like doing a shop for us beforehand. The van itself was easy to drive and set up, and we had a smooth journey there. A couple of days into the festival, we had an issue with the leisure battery, but Kathy was immediately available with advice and support. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get it working again, so we had to manage without the facilities — but we still enjoyed our trip and we wouldn’t hesitate to hire from Kathy again. Before the trip, Kathy sent us a form where we could specify which equipment we needed in the van - this was very helpful. We knew exactly what we needed to take with us. The handover was very clear and set us up nicely. We had a short trip - just 3 nights around the Yorkshire dales but we had some variety: We stayed in a basic site, wild camped one night and then finished in a more well equipped site. The van was very comfortable for two adults and two Labrador. s and it worked flawlessly. our trip was an experiment to see if we like van life before potentially buying one ourselves and we must have liked it as we bought our own van this morning! We would highly recommend Kathy's van for anyone. Juni 2025

Kathy is the best host you could wish for, kept in touch, was alway quick to resond to any queries. The van is fantastic, has everything you could possibly need, we took far too much with us! Karhyprovided us wirh a goody box, butter, jams and milk which was very welcome. Kathy was happy to accept both our fur babies who enjoyed there first experience too, we usually camp in a tent but van life is great with the British weather. We will definitely book with Kathy again Juni 2025

Had a wonderful trip around Wales in Kathy's camper. We were complete novices but Kathy talked us through everything in detail. The van is beautiful and very well equipped, with everything you could possibly need provided. She very generously let us collect the van early and return it a little later. I hired the van to see if it was something I would enjoy in the future and brought a friend for moral support. Kathy's hand over was excellent and the instruction folder and videos really helpful. The van was comfortable and well equipped for us and the dogs. We didn't go far just around Lancashire and Yorkshire but found beautiful places. The van handled really well, but it was just a bit wide for me as a novice campervan driver. I was more confident by the end of our week. I would highly recommend hiring this van from Kathy. We had a great time in Kathy’s van. The van is brilliantly equipped and was easy to drive. There was a real treat of a welcome pack with drinks and breakfast -again so well organised. All the communication with Kathy during the booking process was clear and professional. The links to Kathy’s Instagram account with online videos showing how to use the van together with the comprehensive on-board manual were invaluable and made the whole experience easy. For us this was a case of “try before you buy”, and our conclusion was a massive thumbs up. We would highly recommend hiring this van from Kathy and would not hesitate to do so again ourselves on a future occasion. April 2025

I had a fantastic experience hiring from Kathy and travelling and staying in Garuda. Kathy has thought of everything you would need and was so helpful in getting the van set up and ready to go as well as explaining everything I needed to know clearly. It was just me and my dog Angus who also loved our trip. We went to the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District, had plenty of walks, fresh air and excellent nights of sleep. We hired the camper for 8 nights to go to the Isle of Mull. Amazing little camper van with everything we needed. We did 2 nights on grid then we had 4 nights off grid and 2 nights back on grid. With a mixture of the inverter, solar and gas we had more than enough to heat the van, eat and lighting. We had the heating on most nights as was very cold, but no issues. Lovely van to drive, especially on the narrow roads up on Mull. Kathy was an amazing host, giving us all the information we needed and responding with any questions we had. We couldn’t fault it. Kathy also made sure the camper had everything you would need to get going, food, bedding, tea, coffee, milk. 5*** Oktober 2024

Our second time in succession for hiring and driving this fantastic motorhome from Kathy. We are for from experts in this, but the guidance and explanation from Kathy, getting us underway to our destination as soon as practicably possible. Load up, check the vehicle over and complete paperwork, and this time off to a full race weekend at Silverstone. The motorhome has everything you could possibly need, from pots, pans, microwave to the wc, shower, hot water, heating, clean towels and bedding … perfect. We have previously used this motorhome ‘off grid’ but had electric hook up this time, and both options work perfectly. We recently hired Garuda and enjoyed a few days away in Yorkshire. This was a try before we buy into 'vanlife' and we couldn't have hoped for such a great experience. We had a wonderful time at a festival in Kathy’s van. It is certainly the way to do festival going forward! From start to finish Kathy were an amazing host! Couldn’t have asked for more. Very helpful, very informative, very friendly and extremely kind. The van was very clean, very homely! Had everything you need. I drove it myself and my husband took his car in, easy to drive. We took this excellent vehicle away for our very first time ….. The booking process was easy, Kathy communicated with us, asking what we were doing, so that the vehicle had everything that we required. Leading up to the trip, Kathy was in contact and as we met her to pick up the vehicle, everything was as described and even Moore with a welcome pack. Off we went to Scotland to watch a weekend of motorsport. The van was a pleasure to drive, easy to park and fully equipped. A great long weekend was had, and so impressed are we, we have booked another long weekend in the Garuda for more motor racing … 5 stars and perfect ….. We honestly can’t believe how amazing our experience was with Kathy and her wonderful vantage ora. From the moment we booked the campervan Kathy was so incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, she was happy to be flexible on our pick up and drop off times, she put away a massive food shop and told us everything we needed to know about the van including some helpful experienced tips!! The van itself was fantastic, it looked the part and was so much more than we were expecting. The fact Kathy was always on hand if you needed anything during our trip was reassuring. Even if the van was not to be 100% (which it definitely is!!) Kathy herself makes it. It was an absolute pleasure to hire this van to take to the MotoGP and we would hire it again in a heartbeat. Kathy - we cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us, we had the most wonderful time and it started with you and Rita!! I don't think we can quite put into words how good our entire experience renting Gardua from Kathy has been! From start to finish Kathy and Garuda exceeded all expectations! As first timers at staying in a campervan and complete noobs when it comes to camping, Kathy was superb at offering advice and tips for us and Garuda had absolutely everything you could think of! Hats off to Kathy for being so thorough and welcoming! If you're unsure on hiring, we would 1000% recommend hiring Garuda! Our entire weekend away was excellent but I think the most positive thing we took away was meeting such a warm, welcoming and bubbly host, Kathy! Juli 2024

We had an amazing few days taking Garuda up into North Yorkshire on our first campervan trip together! As complete campervan novices, we were slightly nervous but Kathy was so friendly and helpful we had nothing to worry about! She made sure we were happy with how everything worked in the van before we set off, checked up on us during our trip and even stocked the fridge up for us. I recently rented Kathy's campervan for a three-days trip with my daughter. Kathy's campervan was excellent for us for this trip - it had plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. The campervan was very clean and Kathy's attention to detail was remarkable. I had no prior experience of hiring a campervan, so, Kathy's guidance and recommendations were very welcomed. Her communication was always timely, warm and extremely helpful. We found the video links for her campervan description/instructions helpful too. She alco made the collection and dropping of the campervan very easy and enjoyable. We had a wonderful long weekend in Kathy’s Motorhome. It is fully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing break. Kathy was quick to respond to my queries as a novice. I was off grid yet had excellent lighting and hot water throughout the stay. A supply of beverages and breakfast items to start the trip was a lovely touch. This was our first time in a campervan, and we loved it! Kathy was super helpful during the whole process - getting the van setup for us ahead of collection; the handover; and the questions I had whilst on our trip. The van itself is super comfy, with lots of seating and storage space, and a big bed once setup. The kitchen was just what we needed, and we found the foldaway worktop space really helpful for cooking. Overall we were very happy with the experience, and would definitely hire again! Juni 2024

Great van! Would recommend. Owner is lovely and give a great handover showing us the ropes and explaining any tips/tricks. Following her advice meant we never had any issues during our hire. We are new to campervans too. Van is clean and fairly new and we encounted zero issues. There is a good spec on this van, such as the off-grid kit, smart TV, 5G wifi, onboard waste/water; cassette toilet and LPG heater. The owner is dog friendly and she allowed our small well behaved dog to join us. Although no dog hair was found in the van. The van was well stocked with everything you would need. There was a hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, fly zapper, torches, wireless charger, fan, deck chairs etc. Everything you need such as electric hook-up, water hose, plates, pans etc was included in the van for us to use. The owner kindly stocked the van with milk, butter, bread, bacon and coffee etc which was kind. Fresh bedding was provided and clean towels. It is easy to drive if you are used to larger vehicles. Being Ducato based it drives well. Although a manual, you shouldn't be put off. We took the van to Galloway Forest and lived off-grid. We found with small daily drives and the little sun we had for the 100w solar panel, we were waking up with about 80% battery left. We were not watching our useage either and were using the invertor for the toaster, TV was on every night, soundbar for music when parked up. There is a firestick and you can pay to use the 5G wifi, but we brought our own firestick and just hotspotted our phones with no issues. We averaged around 35mpg which was good for the hills around Galloway Forest and we were using the LPG for cooking twice daily and running the hotwater/heater. The van is not cold, with the outside temperature dropping during the night, the heater was very toasty. The built in Truma heater/boiler was great and easy to use. I believe for a near 700mile trip we spent £110 on diesel and £9 on LPG. LPG is easy to fill being the standard bayonet fitting that most LPG stations use. There is on-board water, waste and a cassette toilet with electric flush. You could get 2 days out of the 90 litre water tank if you watched your usage and had quick showers. We would try to fill up when we could at petrol stations or being cheeky at caravan parks that we drove past. The bed is easy to put up and down and so is the manual awning. You can pack up and go within 20 mins. There are flyscreens fitted all round which is a must. The in-built blinds made the van dark enough to sleep, although the owner offered a silverscreen for the front... but its not needed. Theres plenty of storage with a wardrobe in the toilet, under seat storage. Overall, very happy with our hire and it has given us the bug! We would hire again. Juni 2024
