We took Irene the motorhome to Download Festival for 5 days and she was absolutely brilliant! Drove really smoothly for 4.5 hours each way, super comfy to sleep in, and had everything we needed to stay off-grid the whole time. We used the large double bed, and our friend slept in the over-cab bed, both were really cosy. We didn’t need the heating, but it was great having hot running water and plenty of fresh water on board. Everything worked perfectly and made festival life so much more comfortable. The handover was really easy, Nick met us at the site, walked us through how everything works, and showed us where everything was. He was great to deal with, really easy to communicate with and quick to reply to any questions. One thing to note, there’s currently no LPG available in Barnstaple, so we stopped at a garage just off J25 on the M5 to top up before heading back home. Definitely worth checking with Nick in advance for the best place to fill up. (Gordanos LPG pump is currently out of order) Would 100% recommend booking Irene, we plan to take her for festival camping again next year! Thank you Nick!! Juni 2025

Really enjoyed this great experience, Nicholas was excellent to communicate with, we traveled a total of approximately 470 miles and it was really easy ans comfortable to drive with everything you could possibly need for the 5 nights we had, we would definitely recommend Nicholas and Goboony were brilliant aswell. Can’t wait till the next time. April 2025

I inquired about Irene late last year as an alternative for festival camping to accommodate my partially sighted partner, considering lighting, toilet facilities, etc. Nick was always quick to respond to messages and any queries I had before and during the booking. I had the opportunity to view the van beforehand and was thoroughly guided through its amenities. Upon collection, Nick explained everything about the van, including the off-grid system. We drove four hours to a festival and camped off-grid for five nights, and the solar panel system and leisure battery worked flawlessly! The van was easy to drive, with cruise control making the motorway journey relaxing. The beds were comfortable, and we stayed warm at night without needing additional heating. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Despite the awful weather at the festival, the van kept us warm and dry. Most importantly, it allowed me to bring my partner and ensure he had all the necessary facilities with good lighting, making the week accessible for him. Thank you so much, Nick, for entrusting us with Irene. We had a great trip and hope to book the van again next year! ** I completely forgot to get a photo of the van once pitched! Juni 2024

We had a good hire experience with Nick and Goboony. My first time using the site. We have hired MHs before using companies, and I definitely liked the flexibility on dates a private hire affords you over a company. We hired Weds to Mon. Nick has excellent prompt communications, which was appreciated especially in the planning stages when I was putting all the trip elements together. We stayed on two campsites, so made use of the washing facilities onsite, but it was nice to have your own bathroom onboard during the night. The MH was comfortable to travel in and drove well. We did 5 hrs easily. This is a large MH and is an ideal hire for a couple. I personally would struggle with kids unless you had a spill out tent. Overall, we had a great hire and time in Irene. Would recommend Nick and Goboony for hiring and a simple, easy booking system. September 2023

Nicholas was great with his fast responses and communication in general. The motorhome is so comfortable! We have hired many motorhomes and this one gave us the best nights' sleep we've ever had! Nicholas provides a foam mattress topper that makes it super comfy. There are all the basics provided that you might need and if there's anything slightly more unusual (like a cheese grater) then Nicholas offers his own from home (if you give him notice). It's a big motorhome but if you're used to driving large vehicles it's relatively easy with a good turning circle and reversing camera. Just watch that back end swinging out! You will need a C1 class on your licence to drive this. Nicholas asks for a text to be sent to him approx 20 minutes before arrival (near Ilfracombe) but bear in mind there is little signal in north Devon and it may be worth sending a text earlier so he receives it in time. He lives approx 20 mins away from where the motorhome is kept. We're happy to highly recommend this motorhome and we hope we have the opportunity to hire it again! Many thanks for a great time.
