The handover was straightforward, Duncan even came to me to explain how the van worked, before I collected it.
The road took me just 65 miles to the Silverstone Officials Campsite. Where it was fantastic to just turn up and not have to pitch a tent in either the wind or the rain, or both.
My requirements were simple, a bed, a fridge and a shower. All achieved.
There was no electrical hook-up, but I was planning for that. This van does 'off-grid' very well. Big battery and solar panel.
Getting out of the campsite for the F1 meeting is tricky in any vehicle, but this van was equally happy in all types of traffic.
