Well hello there!

My name’s Diego – I’m a Volkswagen T3 California, born in 1990 in the UK. I’ve done quite a bit of travelling in my time (around 265,000 km!) and I’ve recently become a classic vehicle. To keep up with the times, I got a full makeover inside and out at Only-combi in Normandy in 2024. My engine has only about 20,000 to 25,000 km on it now, and I was completely stripped down for a repaint and to replace all the outdated parts – I’m basically good as new! :D

Even better, SUPER BOURDI, a street artist from La Rochelle, worked his magic on me. His quirky red-underwear-wearing character Bobby is coming along for the ride and will be your adventure buddy!

Thanks to my second battery, you’ve got the flexibility to spend the night in a campsite with facilities – or go fully off-grid for a wild camping experience.

Why travel with me?

• Easy pick-up! I can be available at La Rochelle train station, the airport, or pretty much anywhere nearby (within reason, of course). Need to park your own car? No problem!

• My height lets me fit under most beach and car park height barriers (usually around 2 metres)

• The T3 is one of the roomiest vans out there – the engine’s tucked away in the back, so there’s loads of living space

• With lots of windows, you’ll feel connected to the outdoors even when you’re inside

• The pop-up roof means you can stand up inside the van, sleep in a proper-sized bed, and enjoy a stunning view when you wake up

• Fully renovated in 2024 – fresh and ready for the road

• Fully equipped – all you need to bring is your good vibes!
