We wanted to try a motor home before deciding if we wanted to buy one. Goboony was a very easy way to do this and Alan made it very easy for us as well. He was very helpful before, during and after the hire and could not have done more to help us have a good experience. We hired for a week picking up in the North West and made our way over to Clitheroe, Durham and York. We decided on three stop overs during our seven days and this worked well. I was a bit worried about going down small single track lanes or into town / cities with access issues so made good use of bus parking and park and ride options which meant we managed to go everywhere we planned without much issue. The Phyllis itself was awesome, I should say we normally camp in a tent or use hotels and the Phyllis is kind of a good in between option. We didn't need / use all the built in facilities like the heating, cooker, shower or even the toilet as we made use of site facilities etc, but the Phyllis was very well equipped (BBQ, chairs, tables, sunshade and more) for a longer hire had we needed it. One big difference I noted immediately was the fact that when you arrive onsite, it really is a case of drive onto the leveling blocks if needed, plug in your electric cable and then it was cup of tea time.... 5 minutes to set up was a dream compared to pitching and setting up a tent. We had an amazingly good week and it ticked a lot of boxes for us. The jury is still out on if we buy a motorhome or a campervan or if we just hire when needed but this was a great weeks holiday and we will repeat again in some form for sure. Best experience ever! From the moment we met Alan and had our tour of Phyllis through to handing the keys back after our trip round France, we could not of been more satisfied. Clean, well equipped and ran like a dream. Any questions were answered quickly and our whole journey was beautiful. Definitely recommend Alan as a host. We will be back to hire again. 10/10. Alan was brilliant from first contact to the return of his wonderfully equipped motor home (Phyllis). Easy to drive and fully equipped it made our holiday exceed our expectations. Will hopefully use again if I don't buy one. Would highly recommend. Augustus 2023

Recently returned from the North Coast of Scotland where I spent 9 days going from place to place with my 2 daughters. Alan's motorhome had ample space for day to day living, and of a night the beds are super comfy for a good nights sleep. Phyllis is jam packed with more extras than we could use - everything from extra blankets to BBQ utensils and even board games / cards are provided. Alan's communication from start to finish was brilliant - so helpful. In addition, he's a really nice guy who go's out of his way to make sure you enjoy your break! 100% recommend - I will be a returning customer 😀 Juni 2023

Had a great time. Alan gave us the full guided tour before we left. This took about 45 mins but definitely required. Alan gave us some really good tips and a good help guide before we picked up the vehicle. This was our first time in a motorhome and ‘Phyllis’ was ideal and met all our needs. We will certainly be doing this again. Recommend downloading a good GPS that keeps you on the bigger roads might take a bit longer to get to destination but but as a first timer invaluable. We recently hired Alan's motorhome for 3 nights .It was our very first time in a motorhome and we were unsure how to operate everything.But Alan was amazing and showed us how to work everything and gave us some great tips.The rear camera was a great feature and you had everything you needed for a great trip,the bed was also super comfy and the bedding was also provided. There was plenty of room in the fridge..the garage was large and the chairs and table provided were a bonus ,so relaxing sitting by the lake with a glass of wine.Would definitely recommend Alan and his lovely motorhome which has many more great features.We had a great experience and are already planning our next trip.👍👍😊 April 2023

This was our first time hiring a motorhome, although we haved owned smaller campers before. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect experience. The motorhome was absolutely perfect for us with the fixed bed and the other bed that drops from the ceiling, so no messing around with cushions and tables to make up beds. It had absolutely everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable trip. It was extremely economical and easy to park and drive with the live view rear camera. The owner Alan was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect for us (you can tell it is his baby!). He ran through all the information and gadgets so we were able to get the best out of our time. We would not hesitate in recommending Alan and his motorhome to other users. The whole experience was absolutely perfect. The next time we need to hire Alan will be our first port of call. Februari 2023

For us it was the first time to rent out a motorhome from Alan and both the experience and also the motorhome itself were wonderful and complemented our holiday. Great motorhome, everything you need for your trip and it’s of excellent quality. Choice of Gas or Charcoal BBQ was great. We were on a site where we could only use gas, it was quick and convenient to use for breakfast and dinner. Their are 4 quality chairs, tables, groundsheet & wind breakers also provided. The awning was a great bonus, we took our gazebo but we didn’t need to use it. The fridge freezer was a luxury, it was great to have ice with our drinks in a field. The fixed bed was really comfortable and I was very pleased to find comfy pillows and Egyptian cotton bedding (I brought my own but didn’t need to use them). Alan has thought of everything from tea towels, kitchen roll, toilet roll, cleaning materials, sharp knives, quality pans, glasses & plates. Everything is like new and it feels like a luxury stay. The only thing not provided throughout the whole van was a Prosecco glass for me, lol..everything you can think of for camping has been provided, even a wireless speaker and games. My husband forgot to renew his driving licence (I think on purpose, lol) so I drove the motorhome, our journey was approximately 4 hour drive. I found the motorhome easy to drive and very comfortable, it’s not my first motorhome I’ve driven but this was my favourite, it also has a great rear view camera/mirror. Alan provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. When we collected the motorhome it was full of diesel and water, we didn’t have to stop to do this (that’s been a first for us), we could also leave our car on Alan’s drive which felt safe. We had a great holiday and the motorhome was luxury, which we liked. When we hire a motorhome again, we’ll definitely be back as this has been our best experience of motorhome hire (we’ve hired 5 in the past few years). Just want to end this review with a massive thanks to Alan for going the extra mile with your customer service and providing a ‘fully loaded’ quality motorhome. September 2022
