Dan the campervan – 2-person Off Grid - Bürstner

This compact Bürstner Campeo 600, nicknamed Dan the Campervan, is ideal for couples. Specially designed and proudly equipped for numerous long-distance trips. I wanted to describe Dan briefly for you, but that didn't work out, so here it is...

- To sleep -

At 197x153cm, it is one of the most spacious double beds at the rear of a campervan, equipped with the comfortable bed concept featuring cold foam mattresses and a slatted base. Fitted with double mattress protection.

- Living -

Dan the Campervan is the ideal in-between size; despite its limited length, the interior is spacious with an open layout. The rear doors can be opened fully to enjoy the view from the bed. The wide sliding door on the side provides a beautiful view to the outside from the lounge/dining area.

- Cozy and functional lighting: adjustable reading lights, high beam, dimmable LED strips and indirect floor lighting.
- Living room/dining area with extendable table.
- Kitchen with sink, 2-burner gas stove and 90l refrigerator (electric) with freezer compartment.
- Bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower that also opens through the window.
- Plenty of closet space, one closet is provided for clothes hangers, large storage space under the bed.
- 100l fresh water tank, an all-season campervan thanks to the powerful heating and insulation.
- Thule awning against sun or rain. Built-in mosquito screens on side and roof windows.
- TV set for rainy days. (Chromecast not included)
- Equipped with a solar panel and 2 x 95A leisure batteries. In addition to multiple 220V sockets (only work when connected to mains power), there are also multiple USB charging points (which run on the leisure batteries/solar panel).
- Inside the campervan, there is a sticker with a QR code containing a hyperlink to instructional videos, handy for your trip.

- En route -

The pilot seats with armrests, power steering, and cruise control ensure a blissful driving experience. If you drive defensively at low speeds with the Citroën 2.2 engine with 140 hp and 6 manual gears, you can achieve an average consumption of 8.8 l/100 km.

Because it is 6m long (2.65m high), you can easily drive into the city; this is permitted with the Euro 6 diesel (FR & DE environmental sticker included). You can therefore park in a regular parking space, and the reversing camera comes in handy here. The radio is equipped with DAB+, FM, a Bluetooth hands-free kit, and a USB input. There is a designated spot on the dashboard where you can mount your mobile device for navigation. With a payload of 545kg, you don't have to worry about unsafe overweight.

Furthermore, Dan the Campervan is fully equipped with everything you need for a wonderful and comfortable holiday, such as:

- Bicycle rack for two bicycles. However, electric bicycles are not permitted as the total load capacity is max. 35kg (max. 19kg per rail), dimensions closed 30cm (open 50cm)
- Cooking utensils: coffee maker (mocha type), plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, pots, pan, .... full list available on request.
- Camping set: outdoor table, 2 comfortable chairs, deck of cards, frisbee
- Travel kit: extension cable, power strip, gas cylinder (with spare), fire extinguisher, warning triangle, leveling blocks, water hose, toilet cleaner, first aid kit, high-visibility vests, tie-down straps, ...

All included in the rental price.
