Great weekend in Fergus - and at very short notice. Van in great condition, spotlessly clean and brilliantly equipped with some nice finishing touches such as Bose wireless speaker and Ridge Monkey toastie maker. Very cosy and warm at night, thanks to a comfortable fold down bed and diesel heater to see off any chills.
Alasdair an excellent host - very communicative and flexible about drop off and pickup arrangements. Spent time showing us the ropes and provided very clear written instructions.
Highly recommended. Couldn't fault the van or service given.

We had an amazing experience hiring this campervan for 7 days – it completely surpassed our expectations! Alasdair was incredibly informative and provided loads of helpful advice before and during the trip, which made everything really smooth and stress-free. He really went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident before hitting the road. The van itself was super comfortable – the bed was spacious and cosy, and there was plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. It felt like a real home on wheels, with everything thoughtfully laid out. All the equipment was really easy to use, even for us as first-timers. The heating, kitchen, and water systems were straightforward, and everything worked perfectly. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into making sure everything was in top condition and user-friendly. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be booking again!

Straight forward booking process, with all our questions answered really quickly.
Collection was with ease, Alasdair explained everything clearly, and has put together a great little 'how to' manual, just in case you need it on your travels.
Fergus was a dream, equipped with all the essentials, just take food, clothes and towels and you're off.. He safely transported us through mid Wales where we watched Red Kites and Ospreys. The bike rack was fabulous as it meant we were able to do lots of cycling on our travels. Then at night Fergus kept us warm and dry from the rain.
Highly recommend hiring Fergus.

I planned a surprise trip to Ben Nevis for my other half and What a camper van! We couldn’t recommended hiring ‘Fergus’ anymore. Extremely comfortable and clean. The Camper literally has everything you need for a great trip away! The communication from Alasdair was spot on with such a high standard of service, taking the time to explain every detail on pick up. We are already planning the next trip. 5 Stars!! Thank you

Really smooth process from start to finish. Alasdair was very flexible with pick up and drop off which was really helpful. Lovely van with everything that we needed for a few nights in North Wales. The diesel heater kept us and our 3 month old daughter nice and warm all night long. Would highly recommend, excellent service throughout.

Alasdair has this down to a fine art with seamless handover and Fergus is kitted out with everything you could possible need and more (Inc bike rack on request). I would highly recommend. Where do I even begin! I have nothing bad to say about my 3 day trip in Fergus. Alasdair was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain everything in great detail. Fergus was fully equipped with everything you need and it was clear Alasdair had considered this carefully. Alasdair provided me with a handbook which had detailed explanations on how to use things, e.g the bed or the cooker, all instructions were simple and easy to follow. This was my first solo camping trip and as a female, I was a little apprehensive. Alasdair recognised this and took the time to explain the central locking system and reiterated that he is only at the end of the phone if required. If you are considering hiring Fergus, do it! I am already planning my next trip 🏕️

Would highly recommend Alasdair, he was very quick to respond to questions no matter how trivial! Alasdair was away when I picked up and dropped Fergus back off so dealt with his mum, she showed me round the van and how to use everything and was very accommodating. Fergus was a delight, awesome van with everything required, we opted to hire the drive away awning which was really useful for storage and cooking outside. All round excellent experience with a very accommodating owner thank you Alasdair and Fergus (and Margaret). Highly recommend

Alasdair made everything very easy for our first-time camper van experience and the kids absolutely loved their camping trip to Shell Island. The awning made an excellent storage area and bedroom and I would take an extra gazebo for sitting outside next time.

The camper was an absolute dream. Couldn't fault any part of it. But the Owner was even better. So flexible with pick up and drop off and genuinely was there at anytime if I had a question or 2. Would 100 percent use Fergus again. Thanks for the memories!

Our time with Fergus in the Lake District was a delightful blend of comfort and simplicity. Alistar the owner couldn’t have been more helpful, any issues or requests dealt with with ease they even bought Alfred an activity book and some pencils to enjoy while away! This Campervan was incredible! The handover was easy, and there was a place to leave my car securely whilst I was away. The valet was done quickly (and thoroughly) so we were able to get away earlier than expected, and Alasdair was really helpful and flexible with the return time to correspond with our checkout time from the campsite. Alasdair had made sure the Campervan had everything we would need inside, and was quick to help when we had any questions whilst away. The van itself was clean, comfortable and spacious, and as a first time driver of a Campervan, the cruise control and rear view mirror really helped. The awning is also great for extra storage and a perfect space to sit and socialise. Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and will be booking again ASAP! We would highly recommend this Campervan to anyone.

We had a great week touring in Fergus. The awning was an excellent addition as it allowed us to spread our stuff out and keep the inside of the van as clear as possible. Fergus is very well equipped which made our holiday all the more enjoyable. Alasdair was a great help assisting patiently with my many questions (it was our first time in a campervan) in a timely detailed manner. Me and my partner hired Fergus for a 5 day road trip around Scotland and it was the best thing we ever did. Fergus comes equipped with everything you could possibly need for a camping trip, everything from a Kettle to a latern & camping chairs & table, everything we needed it was there. Fergus was comfortable for sleeping & super comfortable for long journeys. It was also suprising great on fuel for what we were expecting. Alasdair was incredibly helpful giving us a full walk through of the van & providing us with a manual which explained pretty much everything we needed to know, he even included some essentials like milk, tea, coffee & biscuits for our journey & a lovely welcome prosecco & beers. The whole experience was absolutely brilliant & a huge thankyou to Alasdair for making it so easy for us. We will definitely be hiring Fergus for our next trip!

We hired Fergus for a 5 day trip down to Cornwall to Boardmasters Festival and it couldn't have been any more amazing. Fergus was the perfect companion for our trip, he drove like an absolute dream and made the lengthy trip down an absolute breeze. When we arrived we set up camp complete with Awning, and it was like having a home away from home, we had everything we could possibly need provided (Pots, Pans, Cutlery even some beer and Prosecco!) and we were camping in style with an incredibly comfy bed and plenty of room for 4 of us. A camper van is only as good as its owner though, and Alasdair was fantastic throughout the whole process. He was extremely helpful every step of the way, made sure we had everything we needed, gave us every little bit of information we needed and even made a handy little guide complete with scannable QR codes for videos in case we got stuck with anything. He was always at the end of the phone and even made the trip out to us to return something we had left in the van! Thank you for making our holiday unforgettable by letting us take Fergus on our little trip, we will definitely be back for our next Campervan adventure!
