I'm renting the family van based on a Volkswagen Transporter T5. Everything has been thought out for maximum habitability and a maximum of autonomy in summer roadtrip!

The vehicle:

It is a 9-seater transporter, 105hp, 8L per 100, with 95% tinted windows at the rear (you can't see anything from the outside, except at night with the interior light). It is fully equipped for driving comfort:
Cruise control,
Air conditioning,
Camera + rear view mirror,
Bluetooth/USB/micro SD radio for your best travel playlists...
Automatic lights.
It has a front bench 3 seats but only 2 beds inside.

The layout:

- Full range 48/72h: The van is equipped with two lithium cell batteries that can be recharged from the grid. Capacity 30A/300Wh each. Charging time 6-8h. They have an autonomy (phone, light, speaker, PC and fridge recharges of about 24h each). They are equipped with USB, 220V and 12V ports and integrated lights. They weigh 3kg each and are not fixed, so it's handy to have electricity outside!

- Water: 20L canister with a 12V showerhead for outdoor showers, washing up, etc. There is a complete 4 place setting dish kit + a pan and a pot provided.

- Bed: this is a 'comb' bed that unfolds in seconds. The mattress is a special click-clac Bultex 38kg/m3 with a hinge so no holes and maximum comfort. It measures 120x190cm. For the night I have a complete set of insulating blackout curtains.

- Fridge: 40L Mobicool compression cooler, mains or 12V, adjustable from -10 to +10°, big enough to carry provisions for several days.

- Storage: there is plenty of storage under the bed and in the cabinet to the right with numerous storage boxes to keep everything compartmentalised.

- Outside: Camping table and 2 small folding chairs

Sheets are not provided for hygiene reasons.

Possibility to rent a paddle board for 1-2 people (max 130kg) for an extra 10€ per day.

Ps: No stationary heating or solar panel, the batteries are recharged on the mains or while driving. No integrated WC and for water 12V shower and natural products for the dishes and the shower.
