We hired this motorhome for our trip and overall the vehicle itself was excellent — clean, comfortable, reliable, and we had a fantastic time travelling around the UK.
However, the return process left us disappointed. The owner initially told us we could return the motorhome at 5pm because it was not booked afterwards. Based on that, we planned our final day accordingly. On the day of return, he changed his position and asked for it back as soon as possible. Despite this change, we were then charged for a full extra day because we returned later than the original earlier time.
It was frustrating because we relied on the agreed 5pm return and felt the communication was not honest or consistent. It’s a shame, as the motorhome itself was great, but the ending unfortunately affected our overall experience.
