Your Fuerteventura camper adventure starts here - with the Atlantic outside your window and the freedom to decide each morning where the day will take you.
If you surf, kitesurf or windsurf, there are few better feelings than waking up close to the ocean, checking the conditions and heading out when the moment is right. No fixed itinerary and no rushing back to a hotel. Just you, the island and whichever beach or wave looks best that day.
Not coming for the surf? Fuerteventura still has plenty to tempt you: volcanic landscapes, small fishing villages, endless beaches, quiet corners and sunsets worth staying a little longer for. Whether you travel with family or friends, the Kronos gives you the freedom to explore it all at your own pace - and to change your plans whenever somewhere special catches your eye.
Caravamos team's Knightly Kronos is a spacious, fully equipped motorhome with six travelling seats and sleeping space for up to six people. Two permanent double beds - one at the rear and one above the cab - mean that four guests can sleep without rebuilding the dining area every evening. For five or six travellers, the dinette converts into an additional bed.
Inside, you have everything needed for life on the road:
• A kitchen with a three-burner gas hob, sink, refrigerator with freezer compartment
• Kitchenware, cookware and dinnerware
• A bathroom with toilet, sink and separate indoor shower
• Hot water and interior heating powered by gas
• A leisure battery and solar panel for off-grid stay
• USB and 220 V sockets and an inverter
• Bed linen and towels
• Camping chairs and an outdoor table
• Plenty of storage for luggage, beach gear and the things you inevitably bring “just in case”
At 6.99 metres long, it gives you plenty of room to live comfortably without feeling like you are driving a bus. A standard Category B driving licence is all you need.
Good to know before booking:
This is a well-travelled 2022 rental motorhome, not a brand-new showroom vehicle. It is carefully checked, maintained, cleaned and prepared before every trip. While normal cosmetic signs of previous island adventures may be visible, it is a practical and proven travel companion made to be enjoyed.
• Is it suitable for six people?
Yes. It has six approved travelling seats and six sleeping places. It is especially comfortable for four, as both permanent double beds can remain ready throughout the trip. For five or six guests, the dinette converts into an additional 100×185 cm bed. Because of its size, this bed is better suited for one or two children than for two adults.
• Is everything provided?
The essential kitchen equipment, dinnerware, bed linen, towels, camping chairs and an outdoor table are included, so you can travel light.
• Can I drive it with a normal licence?
Yes. Its maximum authorised weight is 3,500 kg, so a standard Category B driving licence is sufficient.
• Is it suitable for off-grid travel?
Yes. The solar panel charges the leisure battery, while the kitchen, hot water, heating and refrigerator can operate using gas. Electrical autonomy always depends on sunlight and how much power you use.
• Can I use normal 220 V appliances?
The inverter is suitable for charging phones, laptops and other lower-powered devices.
• Does the motorhome have air conditioning?
The driver’s cab has air conditioning while the motorhome is being driven. The living area does not have off-grid air conditioning when parked. A habitation air conditioner requires a connection to an external 220 V electricity supply, and Fuerteventura has no serviced campsites providing this type of hookup. The living area can instead be ventilated using its opening side and roof windows.
• Is there a hairdryer?
No - only Fuerteventura’s sun and wind guaranteed year round. Standard hairdryers require more power than the motorhome’s electrical system can safely provide when travelling off-grid.
• Where do I collect and return the motorhome?
Pick-up and return normally take place at our base in El Matorral, just a few minutes from Fuerteventura Airport and easy to reach by taxi. Pick-up or drop-off at another location may be possible if arranged and confirmed in advance, and may incur an additional fee. The exact address and arrival instructions will be provided before your trip.
• Can I stay anywhere on the island?
Fuerteventura offers wonderful freedom for motorhome travel, but local signs, protected areas and any parking or overnight restrictions must always be respected. If you are unsure where to spend the night or would like suggestions for your itinerary, just ask us, Caravamos team will always be happy to share recommendations.
Bring your clothes, your sense of adventure and perhaps a surfboard. The Kronos is ready to become your home on the road while you discover your own favourite corners of Fuerteventura.
