Graeme is a friendly enough, and I have no doubt he means well. Unfortunately, our experience was not good due to the condition of the vehicle. The van was handed over with a known faulty handbrake, a dashboard warning light came on during the trip, which Graeme advised us to ignore. By day 2, we had to take it to a mechanic due to a concerning scraping noise, and they confirmed the van couldn't continue - and in fact would be dangerous to do so. We were stranded on the Isle of Skye with our dog and all our belongings. Graeme offered a full refund, which was eventually honoured through Goboony's dispute process. However contrary to what Graeme suggested, there was no further cover beyond this - and we ended up signficiantly out of pocket and a holiday cut short as we found our own way home. The vans just aren't maintained in good enough condition to be rented. I'd encourage anyone renting from him to thoroughly inspect the vehicle at collection and to be aware that if something goes wrong, there isn't really any Goboony support. Mei 2026
