Sales Terms and Conditions

Article 1 - Sales Terms and Conditions

The present sales terms and conditions rule all the stays sold on the website www.chalets.booz.com. They are included in the contract binding the establishment and the customers.

The client agrees to acknowledge these terms and conditions prior to any booking request for a stay concerning himself and any other person enjoying the stay.

According to the law in force, the present terms and conditions are available for the client for information only and prior to any contract for holiday purchase. The terms and conditions are available on written request to the establishment office.

Article 2 - Booking conditions
2.1 Length of stay

The client who signs a contract for a fixed period may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises after the end of the stay.

2.2 Booking

The booking becomes firm once a deposit of 30% of the total price of the stay (excluding booking fees and cancellation insurance) has been paid. For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, full payment will be required for the booking to become final.

2.3 Payment of the balance

The client must pay the remaining balance of the agreed service no later than one month before the start of the stay. After this deadline, the accommodation will once again be made available for booking and no refund will be issued.

2.4 Price and payment

All prices are given in Euros, including VAT. The client’s attention is drawn to the fact that the tourist tax is not included in the price.

All bookings are personal and non-transferable. The rental only becomes effective with our agreement and upon receipt of the total amount of the stay and booking fees.
In case of unreported late arrival, the accommodation becomes available 20 hours after the scheduled arrival date indicated on the booking contract. After this time, and in the absence of written communication, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit retained by the campsite management.

2.5 Changing your booking request

No discount will be granted for late arrivals and/or early departures.

2.6 Cancellations

Any booking not paid in full in accordance with the general terms and conditions will be cancelled. Cancellation by the client results, in addition to booking fees, in the retention of amounts corresponding to variable fees depending on the type of stay and the date of the registered cancellation letter with acknowledgement of receipt. Unless otherwise specified:

•         Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 30% of the stay price retained
•         Cancellation between 29 and 21 days inclusive before arrival: 35% retained
•         Cancellation between 20 and 8 days inclusive before arrival: 50% retained
•         Cancellation between 7 and 3 days inclusive before arrival: 75% retained
•         Cancellation less than 2 days before arrival: 100% retained

2.4 Withdrawals

The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the context of distance selling, as provided for by the French Consumer Code, do not apply to tourist services (Article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code).
Therefore, for any booking with the holiday village, the client does not benefit from a right of withdrawal.

2.5 Cancellation Insurance

We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. This policy provides cancellation coverage allowing reimbursement of amounts paid in case of cancellation or early departure under certain conditions (illness, accident, etc.). Booking fees and the insurance premium are non-refundable.
Insurance rates: 4% of the stay amount and its supplements.

Article 3 - During your stay
3.1 Arrivals and departures

Arrivals take place from 4 p.m., any day of the week. In case of late or deferred arrival or last-minute impediment, the client must inform the holiday village. Services not used due to late arrival remain payable and will not be refunded.

3.2 Guarantee

A 260€ guarantee will be deposit on your arrival. It will be given back on your departure during the reception opening hours and after inventory of fixtures. Any damage will be invoiced and added to the price of the stay as well as the cleaning fees if the accommodation is not perfectly clean when you leave. If you cannot attend the inventory of fixtures, your guarantee will be sent back by post.

3.3 Departures

Any delay for giving back the key and leaving the pitch after 10 a.m. will be invoiced one extra night. Should your stay be extended, you must warn the establishment at least 24 hours before the departure date set previously.

3.4 Animals

Animals are allowed inside the accommodations.

3.5 Policies and procedures

As required by law, you must comply with our internal regulations, filed at the prefecture, displayed at reception, and available upon request.

Article 4 - Liability

Clients and occupants are responsible for any damage caused by them. The client remains solely and jointly liable to the holiday village for damages caused by occupants. It is strongly recommended that clients take out Civil Liability and Holiday insurance if they have not already done so.

Article 5 - Applicable Law

These general conditions are subject to French law and all disputes concerning their application falls under the jurisdiction of the High Court or Tribunal de Commerce de Mende.
