Very easy dealing with the owner Roger - flexible, good communication and a lovely man. Roddy did what it said on the tin and kept us warm and dry during a wet festival. Excellent sized fridge!

We initially hired Roddy for a festival down in Devon but added on a couple of extra days at the start when other plans changed. Roger was very friendly and helpful with updating the booking and with the handover and return. A very well equipped van and a pleasure both to drive and stay in.

Chris originally booked for a Devon festival then extended for a couple of days .They collected Roddy and we had an easy hand over as they are experienced.The return was as agreed Roddy being returned clean with grey water and loo emptied.

We really enjoyed our short break in Roddy to Hayling Island (with a stop off at home to collect our stuff and meet a micro camper)!! This was our first trip in a campervan, but with Roger's supportive messages beforehand and clear handover instructions, we both had a great time and Roddy was very comfortable to drive. Roger was very friendly, gave clear instructions but as our destination had little mobile reception didn’t get his reminder to turn fridge to gas. But that was soon sorted. Great for our four day festival experience. Remember to pack light and soft bags. Limited storage space .

The handover gave me all the info I needed - Roger was warm and friendly and relaxed with the fact that I was about to drive away with his camper! We used the van at Silverstone, staying in a campsite nearby (without electric hookup). The weekend was wet and having a warm dry place to return to in the evening was great - so much better than a tent!

Roger was very helpful once I’d made the booking by answering questions about the van and offering suggestions about places I might like in the area I was planning to travel. He was very good and helpful at handover, again offering suggestions, lending me his bike rack and helping fit the bike. The van had everything I needed for a comfortable time away. I was appreciative how comfortable the driving seat was! I drove from Bournemouth to St David’s whilst overnighting at Swansea Marina. Roddy comfortabley ate up the miles. I then drove on up to Porthmadog in North Wales stopping along the way and on return. I mainly stayed on small sites Caerhays Farm in St David’s next to the Coastal Path was my favourite. I did a couple of nights off site and the van was comfortable to do this. I really enjoyed the experience of travelling around rather than a fixed place. Roddy was easy to drive even down some single track lanes. The reversing camera was very helpful. The van fits in most car parking spaces which was a big help. I liked the layout of the van. I didn’t need to use the shower but the space was useful for storing things. The 4 x ring hob was great for cooking anything, as was the grill. The bed was comfortable and room to put my bedding in locker during day. I very much enjoyed my expedition and would very much like to take Roddy away again

Roger was brilliant from start to finish. He answered all questions, gave great advice and accommodated a couple of issues when travelling back in a kind and helpful way. Roddy was a great camper van and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We spent three happy nights at Trevedra Campsite near Sennen in Cornwall. Highly recommended

An amazing adventure! I picked Roddy because it was my first time renting or staying in a campervan so looked the perfect size to start. It was easy to drive and I had a great trip down to Devon with my son despite the high winds and rain. Roger thoroughly explained all the basics of the van and how to hook up etc and then bravely let us go. The van was clean, comfy and incredibly easy to use - prefect for 2 people. Can't wait to book my next trip

An absolutely genuine and nice guy. Very laid back and easy to speak to. Owner was available to call if needed but there where no issues with the rental whatsoever. My mum and I had a great holiday in this van. We drove round Devon and Cornwall and really had such a relaxed and comfortable trip. The van had everything we needed for a 10 night road trip. Would definitely recommend renting this very spacious van.

Our first experience going away in a camper was great! We're sold! Roger & Jacky were super helpful and really made us at ease around the use of Roddy. Had an easy drive to Devon and back, a fuel-efficient and powerful engine which was a bonus!

Roddy the campervan was great. We had not done campervan holidays before and he was a great place to start. Roger and Jackie gave us a great tour when we picked Roddy up, it is hard to remember everything but we had the manual and some things trial and error gave the answer. Roger also told us where we could stop overnight and there were books of camp sites and other stops. We enjoyed the freedom of being able to move on whenever we wanted and were pretty much self sufficient with a toilet and shower on board. Hookup is advisable every 2-3 days for the fridge to work efficiently. Roddy is not too wide for narrow gaps and has a powerful engine for long journeys and hills. We were able to leave out car safe behind Roger and Jackie's gates. Roger kept in touch before our holiday and answered questions during. Fantastic would highly recommend.

We had a lovely few days. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The van had everything you need for a few days away. We actually only used it for sleeping in so didn’t use any of the items. The huge fridge was a bonus. We had a small issue with the engine light coming on , but was towards the end of our break so wasn’t to much of a problem as it stayed on orange. However. It maybe an idea to put on the windscreen , who to contact in case of breakdown . Thanks again Roger and. Jackie .
