We had the most amazing time with McNugget during our road-trip in Scotland ! Super easy to drive, very well furnished, the van is perfect if you plan to discover the countryside as well as the seaside. Many thanks Stephen for your trust! June 2024. We are a couple in our early 70s. This was our first campervan holiday in over 40 years. We had spent holidays in the Highlands and been to Skye before for a day trip, this time we wanted to travel to the Outer Hebrides. We had chosen the Ford Nugget Plus because we wanted a compact vehicle, thinking it would be easier to drive and more suitable for ferries and driving on single track roads. Stephen was friendly, welcoming and reassuring when we went to collect the van. He spent more than an hour explaining and demonstrating how everything worked and answering our questions, so that we felt confident driving away for our holiday. In addition to the vehicle handbooks, he gave us a paper copy of instructions which was handy to refer to. He assured us that we could contact him with any questions, and when we did, he replied very promptly. We rented the van for nine days, during which time we went to Skye via the Mallaig ferry, camped in the south west, then on to Harris stayed on the west coast, then stayed a night on Lewis, also on the west coast, then back to Harris before returning to Skye, staying in the north, then back to the mainland via the bridge and travelling back to Glasgow via a different route. We had a wonderful holiday! The van was very well equipped, easy and comfortable to drive, the automatic gearbox was great and the rear view camera made manoeuvring and parking very straightforward. We booked the ferry crossings in advance and our chosen (beautiful) campsites as we went. As it wasn't yet the high season, we had no trouble finding space on campsites, in fact we were usually able to wake up to an unimpeded view of the sea or the loch. Although the weather was very mixed: cool, showery and very windy most of the time, we did everything we had hoped to and thanks to good visibility, we took enormous pleasure in the drama of ever changing light and the glorious scenery, from inside the van as well as outside. We really appreciated the comfort of the van, especially when the weather was wild. We never needed electric hook-up because the leisure battery provided us with all the power we needed. We both slept well, in the very comfortable bed. We cant wait for our next adventure in Stephen's campervan! Juli 2024

I had an amazing trip with the van. New vehicle with google maps that connects automatically when you plug the USB cord to your phone. The van drives amazing, perfect for narrow roads as in Skye. I’m thankful I haven’t took a motorhome with me to that road. The outside chairs that comes with the vehicle are so easy to use and comfortable. The vehicle has some extras that Stephen put into, like the reverse camera which to me(an international traveler) really helped. The vehicle has 360 sensors which gives you the sense of security to park the vehicle in Skye. I really recommend this guy. He gave us everything for an amazing experience in Scotland. Mei 2024

McNugget was the perfect companion for a 9 day drive around the NC500 and the Isle of Skye. We absolutely loved the amenities and the comfort McNugget offered us. The van drives beautifully and is the perfect size for navigating even the narrowest roads while still affording good space and comfort inside. Stephen was great: the handovers were easy and well-organised. He provided us with an extensive walkthrough and an information sheet to refer to along the way, detailing how to operate all aspects of the van. I would 100% recommend Stephen and McNugget to anyone and would actively look to hire this model of van on future trips on other destinations. April 2024

Fantastic van we absolutely loved it! Considering looking into one ourselves. The pop up top was a lifesaver in comfort and space! Stephen was very responsive and very lovely to work with! We will be booking again on our next trip over the pond. Maart 2024
