If a bond and a friendship is what your looking for in a van, look no further. The Thermos was the perfect companion to take us round Scotland for our first trip around the highlands. We were due to pick up a different campervan, but 3 days before our trip we received a last minute cancellation from a different advertiser - but aren’t we so glad we ended up meeting Ruaridh and renting his campervan Thermos instead! Ruaridh was so helpful with our last minute stressful situation, doing everything he could to make things work out for us. When we arrived, Ruaridh provided the most hospitable and kind welcome to his area of the world. He gave us a thorough introduction to Thermos and made sure we felt confident heading out on the road, providing lots of recommendations, clear information and brilliant advice. We instantly fell in love with the authentic camper feel and the history of the van. Thermos is equipped with everything you need and is suitable for both wild camping or in one of th many campsites - we did a mix of both, taking Thermos round the North Coast 500, and would definitely recommend this campervan for whatever kind of adventure you’re looking for! Thermos was extremely reliable; we didn’t need to charge the battery once during our 6 day trip, and filled up water every 2/3 days. The bed was extremely comfortable with the mattress topper and provided the best cosy evenings in the most beautiful locations. Ruaridh and his campervan made our week in the highlands so special.
