We have been thinking of buying a motorhome or campervan. several people had suggested hiring one first. Having looked at various layouts we decided to look for something similar to what we thought we would like.
After a bit of searching we found one with the layout we were looking for and automatic gearbox with James on the Goboony site. The motorhome was located north of us so we decided that was the direction to go and picked Whitby as the site to stay collecting the vehicle on route. Quicker on the return.
It took around an hour and half to go through the checks, learn how to work everything and load our things.
Having not driven a motorhome before, It was a relatively easy drive, helped by having the auto gears and plenty of power.
It is a 5 berth which meant there was plenty of room for the two of us, and lots of storage if we had wanted to take bikes as well.
