The van worked very well thanks to it's unique and inventive bed design and effective layout. If you are a family of four or five I think you'd be hard pushed to find something this comfortable in a mwb format without a pop top bed (we wanted to avoid a pop top as we felt it negated the benefits of all sleeping in the van together and the mwb was very much appreciated when driving around Vs lwb). The bottom rear bed is big enough for one child and one adult. The upper rear bed is big enough for 1 adult or child (though it's a bit small of you are taller than 166cm). The double bed on rails is big enough for 2 adults. The swivel seats and 2 leaf table make for a great place to eat or play games (on one evening we had 4 adults and 2 kids sat comfortably in the van playing cockroach poker together!) I found the beds comfortable but if you are accustomed to a softer mattress you may want to bring a thin topper. We found the upper rear bed gave plenty of space for storing all our soft bedding during the day/whist driving. Whilst we were in camp sites a lot of the time, we found the van worked very well off grid. The batteries were now than enough for 2-3 days using the fridge, lights and charging phones. Driving to the next place was always enough to give us plenty charge again. Communication from Marie and Nathan was very good as too was their enthusiasm for our planned adventure!
