Our experience had positives and negatives.
Paul was very accommodating however after 2 nights away in the motorhome our friend noticed the back tyre had a tear in it. Subsequently on our third day my husband, myself and our two preschoolers spent 3 hours driving around north Dublin trying to find a garage to have a look with a screaming toddler at this stage.
The mechanic said the motorhome was not safe and if we went over a pothole it would be a serious accident. After replacing it he checked the rest and had the same issue on the other back tyre. Both tyres were stamped 2016.
The say was then getting late, kids upset so we actually went back to my dads, wasting the day, evening and night.
Upon collecting the campervan the oil light was on, ultimately my husband wasn’t happy to drive his family in the motorhome anymore and we returned it early, without compensation. Paul kindly said we could have kept it on to make up for some of the time lost but at that stage we were done. We lost fuel, a night away, and time on the road in a motorhome we felt needed a bit more attention before it went out to the next person. Started so well but a huge disappointment to our holidays.
