Fantastic vehicle! We had great fun bouncing around the roads of Essex and Sussex countryside in this powerful automatic. It's not a new vehicle but you wouldn’t know it from it’s shine and power! The jeep has solar power and a battery; the fridge stays really cold and Nick provides a camp stove and all the pots and pans you might need. The popup tent on top is equivalent to a king sized bed and has a 4/5cm padded base. I’m pregnant so needed an extra self inflating mat to stop my hips getting uncomfortable but most people wouldn’t need it. We took sleeping bags and pillows and were really comfortable, only waking when we got hungry as it’s blackout canvas. Nick is a really well-experienced hirer but new-ish to Goboony; We found him a really trustworthy, friendly and knowledgable gent and would have no problems hiring from him again. If you don’t get a response to a message on this platform, just give him a call (he’s managing a lot of emails). Nick also advised us that we probably didn’t need the large awning and he was completely right; even the smaller one we never used but it was reassuring to have in case it rained. Top advice is to pack light and book a campsite with a washer/dryer every 5 days. It saves loads if space. It's definitely worth downloading Roady and Campy apps to find good spots to stay.
