Hallo, ik ben Holly!

Glasgow, Verenigd Koninkrijk – Lid sinds mei 2024

Wij kochten Vance in 2018 en werden de tweede eigenaren. Dit was onderdeel van onze huwelijksreis waarbij we van Glasgow naar Scandinavië reisden en weer terug door Europa.

Sindsdien hebben we de NC500, Wild Atlantic Way (Ierland en NI), Lake District verkend en het heeft ons verschillende centen bespaard die we na een bruiloft of twee ook als accommodatie konden gebruiken!

Omdat we nu twee kleine toevoegingen aan onze familie hebben, hebben we niet meer zoveel tijd als vroeger om op ontdekkingstocht te gaan. Als zodanig bieden we jullie allemaal de kans om een aantal geweldige herinneringen te maken met Vance, net zoals wij deden (en nog steeds doen, alleen niet zo vaak of zorgeloos!).

We had a very mixed experience with the camping car, since we had a mechanical failure which did not allow us to continue the trip. I want to mention very clearly that the experience with Holly and Ewan (the owners) was very good despite the breakdown. The breakdown was not their fault, just a part failure that is not scheduled maintenance or anything. I don't blame them and the communication was very good before, during and after the breakdown. However, I was very disappointed in Goboony. They offered very little help and just sent us to the AA for help. The AA was great and figured everything out and got us into a different rental (it was a car, but at least we could continue to explore Scotland). Goboony's insurance is quite expensive (around £32 per day) and they do not reimburse for breakdowns, which I find to be extremely unfair (we used the van for 5/9 days and through no fault of our own we lost 4 x £32 of insurance and also 4 days of exploring in a van). I am extremely unlikely to work with goboony again because I do not agree with these policies. I would, however, be open to working with Holly and Ewan again because, as mentioned, none of this was their fault and communication was good and honest. Augustus 2025

Thanks. Very good communication with Holly during the vehicle pickup/drop off. Available and patient with explanations. Everything you need on board is there. I recommend an extra 10-liter water container. Reliable vehicle. The advantage of the size on Scottish single roads. And... an unforgettable stay in Scotland. Thank you !) Augustus 2025
