Alex is very kind and has responded quickly to all our messages. Padfoot is quite scratched outside, but the interior is lovely, well thought and cosy. Please note that with the wall padding, it is not possible to lie completely straight in the bed. I am 167 cm tall and had to lie slightly diagonally or shuffle my feet so they'd be in a nook in the wall. The mattress itself is really comfy though. There's no gray water tank, so water from the shower and sink go out from the van directly from a pipe. It's to be kept in mind if you're in an urban area, but no trouble if you're in nature. The water tank is 100L, so there's enough to comfortably go by with. The kitchenette is fully equipped and the big gas bottle powered the gas stove super effectively. Cooking was really lovely. Everything was well thought of and it's great that you don't have to bring specific van equipment with you, the van has it all already. We had the unfortunate luck of having a mechanical issue with the motor, the exhaust pipe broke. We called the insurance hotline and they sent someone to do a first fix in the evening. We then had to wait for the weekend to go by so we could get in a garage on Monday. Alex phoned garages around and we were able get a temporary fix so we could drive the van back to London from Wales. He was really helpful through this whole ordeal. Alex told us the exhaust pipe has since been replaced. September 2026

Pad foot was the perfect van for us, the layout was very clever! Alex was lovely to deal with and his system of videos was really handy! Juli 2026

Really lovely campervan Alex was a really excellent host and very responsive to all messages (had been some time since I had used a manual gear and had to have directions to stick van into reverse). I can confirm it is a little short in the bed, but we had a lovely trip regardless Juli 2026

Padfoot is a really characterful van - very comfortable and great facilities (sink, fridge, shower, toilet) that all work perfectly thanks to spot on electrical work by Alex. Alex is very good at communicating and wonderfully flexible with timings for drop off and pick up. Will definitely look to hire Padfoot again if needed. (Side note: If you’re 6’4 like me the bed is a little short but still very cosy and comfy!) Juli 2026

We had such a nice time with squeak! Alex has done a great job of making it cozy and he is more then helpful 🙌 We were both under 170cm, and the car fit us perfectly, the bed is just long enough and we could stand upright. The bed and sheets was also very comfortable! However, it is an older car and like the name it squeaks. We also had some problems with the engine, but Alex answered me quickly and we could #keepcalmandcarryon 😄 (hopefully it gets fixed) otherwise it is a very good car to drive and it's perfect to get around in old towns with narrow streets and you can park and sleep almost everywhere 👌🙌 Thank you Alex Juli 2022
