We had an excellent trip to the Isle of Skye in Art! Ian was an excellent host and it was easy to contact him before and during the trip. The van was very clean and full of essentials when we picked it up making it a great home from home as we travelled around the island. Would definitely recommend Ian and Art the van!

We hielden van ons verblijf in Art! Ian heeft echt aan alles gedacht wat je nodig hebt voor een ontspannend bestelwagenleven; een *super* comfortabel bed, een geweldige keuken en zithoek, en een echt effectieve verwarming voor de koudere avonden. Er is voldoende kracht uit de vrijetijdsaccu om uw spullen opgeladen te houden en er is meer dan voldoende opslagruimte voor al uw vakantiespullen. Het is een groot busje - we namen Art mee rond het Torridon-gebied en naar Skye, en het reed alle winderige steile wegen als een droom. Het duurt niet lang voordat manoeuvres lastig zijn, vooral vergeleken met sommige van de enorme campers die we onderweg zagen. De ontmoeting met Ian was geweldig, hij maakte de overdracht een fluitje van een cent, praatte met ons door alles wat we moesten weten en beantwoordde alle vragen die we hadden. Tijdens de reis was hij zeer responsief en super behulpzaam toen we een probleem hadden met GoBoony! We raden Art graag aan aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een avontuur buiten de gebaande paden en naar het beste van wat Schotland te bieden heeft! Nogmaals bedankt Ian! (Ik hoop dat je been snel geneest, maat!)

Very good communication with Ian before and during the trip. Good handover and introduction to the camper van. Ian and Raji are both so friendly and helpful. We had a great time in the camper van and got to experience Isle of Skye and the area around Fort William. It was a perfect and very cosy base all four days both in good and bad weather. We had everything we needed and the camper van was so nicely equipped and furnished. We can really recommend this camper van for exploring Scotland.

We had a fantastic 4 night drive around the Isle of Skye in Art. 3 adults, parents and young adult son. The van was perfect, small enough to drive and manoeuvre with minimal blind spots and tall enough to stand up in when cooking. It was beautifully set up with lots of storage for luggage, equipment and food. The beds were super comfortable, both the main double bed and the small single bed made up from the dining seats. We all slept very well every night. Ian thoughtfully provided picnic tables and chairs and we enjoyed picnic lunches with unbeatable views, all the better for having the well equipped kitchen just behind us. We could cook up some pretty gourmet meals with just the 2 burner gas hob and small but adequate fridge. Its completely off grid and there’s more than enough drinking water storage With the front seats swiveled round, the van was surprisingly roomy and had dining space for 3 in bad weather. Ian and Raji are excellent hosts and there are so many thoughtful touches in the van, down to a hangboard which gave our son his daily dose of pull ups! Ian was very responsive to all our messages and we had a very clear idea of what to expect when we arrived. They gave us a very detailed walk around explaining everything clearly and there is also a detailed manual to explain all the equipment. The driving position is good and all passengers got a panoramic view. The pick up location is also very convenient, right in the city centre. We very highly recommend this van and its excellent owners !
