I recently hired Dexter. As I discussed with the owner, the first night the leisure battery was so low, the heater would not run. After that the smell of diesel was so strong in the van that it was uninhabitable I’m afraid. I only spent one night in it (I was fortunate that my friends had a space for me to stay and that I could change my New Year plans) and even driving it with the windows open have me a headache (sleeping was impossible) I have independent witnesses who will state that the vehicle was uninhabitable if required. I tried to clean the tank several times, but after any period of the doors being closed, the smell was what I consider a health hazard and frankly dangerous. Given that I was only able to spend one of the four hire nights in the vehicle, I believe that the owner or Goboony should offer at least a partial refund of the hire cost. I was also disappointed that having paid Goboony a £54 cleaning fee, that I was asked to pay ANOTHER £50 cleaning fee by the owner. Over £100 to clean a small van that wasn’t even very clean I consider excessive. I welcome your thoughts. Januari 2022

Absolutely fantastic weekend away to Cornwall, van was tidy, reliable and comfortable. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Frankie and Darren was friendly, accommodating and professional. would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely van for a short weekend away. December 2021

We had an excellent short break in Carole. The van is small but well equipped with everything we needed. The T5 was easy to drive. We would not hesitate to book again for another trip. September 2021

Carol was a replacement vehicle, bought by Darren to fulfill bookings on another van that had been written off. Basic van with no frills, but clean inside, had all the main camping essentials, and was easy to drive. Would hire from Darren again. Augustus 2021

We had an amazing time with Carol, first time with a camper van, probably wouldn’t have if COVID hadn’t struck, so every cloud has a silver lining. My son bagged the pop up roof area to sleep, he loved it, probably apart from my snoring from below. The van performed above expectations very economical, and it had everything we required. Will not hesitate to hire either Carol or another if Darren’s VW campers!! Augustus 2021
