We used Ronnie for 4 weeks spending all this time in Scotland. It is a compact van that has everything you need to live in both free camping and using campsites. The fridge is small but with the use of an esky (chilly bin) for drinks. The bed is transverse so was a little short for my hubby but we made it work. It has a great heater that heats the van within minutes, which runs on gas. The boot space was great to keep our luggage bags in. Ronnie did not miss a beat and reliability was important to us. Chris was very responsive if we had questions. Easy hand over and drop off. Would recommend this van especially if you are used to living in a small space. November 2025

We had such a good trip away over 4 nights using the campervan. First experience of a campervan trip and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful explaining everything about the van. It is well equipped, easy to drive and comfortable bed too! Although we used sites, it is set up perfectly for off grid camping if preferred. Thanks Chris for all your help. Ronnie was a great van to go around the outer Hebrides for ten days. Chris was a great host and very quick to respond when we asked a question The van is easy to drive with quiet engine and economical The bed is not huge but it is comfortable. The van is well set up for off grid. The garage is huge. To note that the dining table on the photos has been replaced by a coffee table but there is a fold up outside table for meals. Our trip with Ronnie was just perfect - everything we imagined and more. Chris was an amazing owner, giving detailed instructions before starting our trip, always answering our questions quickly via WhatsApp and ready to help. The van itself was extremely comfortable, equipped with everything needed for our trip along the NC500: driving was very easy (thanks for the automatic gearbox), heating and cooking was comfortable, and Ronnie's off-grid qualities helped us to travel freely, spending the nights by beaches and beautiful spots. Would 100% recommend hiring with Chris, and if we ever have a chance to return to Scotland, we would definitely hire from him again. Mei 2025

Had an incredible MTB roadtrip with my partner in Ronnie. The van is very pleasant and easy to drive, fully equipped with everything needed for off-grid living, and a really comfortable and cozy space to exist in. Chris is very friendly and was really responsive and helpful in arranging pick up and drop off, explaining how everything works, and answering any questions we had along the way. We also found the provided instruction book to be particularly well put together and guided us through any of the processes we had to follow when they were needed, eliminating all the uncertainty we had as a result of very little prior experience. We would highly recommend Ronnie to anyone looking to hire a campervan and will definitely be booking again. Thanks! April 2025

We really enjoyed our recent trip round the NC500. From booking to collecting and returning the van, everything was perfect. Chris and Maggie were friendly, kind and very helpful. Chris explained everything about the motor home clearly. We loved the motor home it had everything we needed, was easy to drive and everything worked well. Chris helped us with bus timetables and stored our lost luggage until we returned from travelling, which was very helpful. We would highly recommend the motorhome and Chris and Maggie were the perfect hosts. September 2024

We had a fantastic trip to do the NC500 in Vinnie! Kitted out great for everything we needed, and not needing an electric hook up all the time was ideal. Communication with chris and picking up/dropping off the van was really easy. The instructions and videos chris provided helped with how to use all aspects of the van (toilet, heaters etc).
