What initially started out as an exciting adventure ended up as being a nightmare. For the first part or our booking, we were parked on grass and this helped with keeping the motorhome stationary. When then moving it and parking on tarmac, it became apparent that handbrake did not work. On more than 1 occasion I had to run into the cab to apply the foot pedal as this was the only way to stop the motorhome rolling backwards. We came home a day early and when returning the vehicle, Natasha chose to stay in her motorhome which was parked just in front, rather than come and speak with us. Her husband was very apologetic and approachable, as was their daughter, or "manager" when I first picked the motorhome up. Natasha then withheld our £500 security deposit for 22 days as blamed me for her vehicle being unroadworthy. This was subsequentially returned to us after a garage confirmed that the issue was longstanding. My advice would be to always check the MOT history before booking and never book this motorhome. Bertie provided a great travel experience. Natasha & Mandi were very supportive and helpful. Natasha always answered my queries and helped me as a first time Motorhomer, and was flexible with us on timing. This was our first time in a motorhome, and it was a great experience. Bertie is so easy to drive and park and he has all you need for a getaway. Natasha was excellent and provided an in-depth video that showed how everything works, so even as first timers we were confident that we could just get in and drive off to somewhere nice. I did call her while away to ask something that I had missed in the video and she answered quickly and was very helpful. If you are thinking of hiring a motorhome, whether for the first time or the umpteenth time, I would definitely recommend Bertie and Natasha. April 2023
