Easy and flexible on collection and just as pleasant when returning the van. Van is layed out really nice and is a very comfortable way to spend time in a field. Leisure battery lasted 5 days in a field for charging phones and other small items. Really happy with the whole experience and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future. September 2025

Earl…the icon, the legend. We’ve rented vans previously but he really took the biscuit. Kitted out with everything you need & a very comfy bed! We loved him so much we’re now going to convert our own. Thanks Lucy for such a great experience & fantastic van September 2025

We hired Earl for a weekend at a festival followed by couple of days away at the coast. The camper is a great conversion with everything you need to be either off grid or at a campsite. The lesuire battery lasted whilst we were at the festival and having a working fridge and running water was a real bonus ! We were suprised with the spacious bed area and slept well every night. Lucy is a great host and talked us through all the features of the van so that we were not thrown in at the deep end. We had a great time away and would definitely consider hiring Earl again. Lucy and Mark built this motorhome themselves from a transit van. It's got everything you can possibly want. From front to back: the seats swivel to form a spacious 5 seat dining room, it's got an awning on the sliding door side, a bathroom with shower, chemical toilet, a kitchen with gas hobs, basinet, fridge and the bedroom with 2 really comfy king-size beds on 2 decks. The leisure battery runs the water pump, fridge and USB outlets but you'll need to be plugged in to have hot water and mains outlets. Garden table, chairs and portable char grill included. Lots of storage units and under the bed. It's obviously longer but just as large as a compact SUV so it's really not hard to drive and park. Lucy and Mark are wonderful hosts; they'll walk you through the features upon pickup, leave you with a detailed instructions manual and make themselves available 24/7 should you have further inquiries while on the go. We had a really lovely time up in the Peak district and will definitely consider them again! Juli 2024

Excellent booking, everything was smooth from messaging the host Lucy to the actual experience of driving and living in this camper van for 3 nights. Only annoyance was the limit of 58mph but it kept this long beast to the road and hold it from taking off.. We will definitely book it again! We loved it.. April 2024

Perfect van for a family of 4. We didn't have electric hookup where we were so didn't use this. The van is spacious, well thought out and had everything we needed. It was fine to drive, Lucy was very helpful and we would definitely hire again. Augustus 2023

We hired Earl for a long weekend at a festival. Absolutely perfect for what we needed. Well equipped, plenty of space for 2 adults (plus 2 camping teenagers who visited us for food each morning!), good storage, and super comfy king size bed. Fridge worked on the leisure battery all week. Driving Earl was also no problem, as long as you’re in no rush, which we weren’t. Comms and handover with Lucy was great. Overall, highly recommended. Earl was a delight during our trip to the Isle Of Man for a week of TT fun. Whilst capped at a steady 56mph, the ride is stable, comfortable and although a long boy (around 7ish meters!) he is very easy to drive. Facilities on board were great, with the only gripe being the diesel heater having been decommissioned for valid reasons (under-use). We didn't use the shower but can confirm the hot water on board was HOT! Perfect for hot water bottles etc. The bed was wonderful, the top bunk is tight and as described, is suited to small children (we used it as luggage storage to keep everything neat). Instructions were clear and concise. We were given a full run through beforehand to ensure no confusion and Ryan/Lucy were on the end of the phone if need be. My only recommendation is if there is hookup and the water point is a little way away, be prepared with an expandable hose (20ft approx.) as the hose supplied was a little short for where we were. Earl towed my motorcycle with ease, and the under-bed storage was ample enough for a motorcycle ramp and various ancillaries associated with that! (note the trailer is NOT included with the hire) Would definitely recommend and in my opinion would suit a small family or active couple perfectly. Thanks for the great trip! Juni 2023

We can only thoroughly recommend Earl, whilst certainly not a speedster (limited to 55mph - add 10min/hr for whatever your navigation says) was a gentle giant to drive and helped develop that holiday mentality and slow down from your previous pace. Our pitch had an electric hook up so can't confirm off-grid capacity but he was fully equipped as photos attest. The bed was comfortable and large, more so than some hotels we've stayed in. The facilities more than adequately coped with our self-catering needs of a morning coffee's and light lunches with an ample sized fridge for milk, food and drinks of an adult nature. Lucy was more than happy to answer any and all questions and provided a useful pack covering all the things you were certain you'd remember later. Many thanks for allowing us to hire!! April 2023
