Hallo, ik ben Kevin!

Hallo, ik ben Kevin en ik woon in Cheddar - de thuisbasis van de Cheese, Gorge, Caves en nu SUXi.

Ik heb altijd van kamperen genoten, maar naarmate mijn kinderen ouder werden, heb ik een upgrade naar mijn Mercedes Motorhome uitgevoerd.

Ik ben een alleenstaande ouder, dus heb de helft van de tijd mijn kinderen, waarom is dit relevant? Omdat ik voor de andere helft alleen ben en zoals de nieuwe wereld betekent, kan ik vanuit "thuis" werken. Dus Suxie heeft een kleine upgrade gehad om eruit te zien als een thuiskantoor. Naast het comfort van de bestuurder van een iPhone en Android-compatibel mediacentrum, is de tv geüpgraded naar een slim scherm en is er een wifi-hub, zodat ik vanaf een aantal prachtige locaties kan werken en doen alsof het een Teams-achtergrond is.
Natuurlijk is dit een uitkomst in de regen voor de kinderen, want het heeft ook ingebouwde Amazon Prime, Netflix Youtube enz., evenals terrestrische tv. Oh, maar er zijn speelkaarten UNO-kaarten, boggle, enz. Te vinden in de lades in de achterste lounge (die ook een drankenkast bevat!)

Als je Suxie huurt, behandel haar dan als de jouwe en zorg voor haar, want we hebben nog veel meer reisplannen

Kevin is a nice guy who always available to help. However motorhome itself is too old and have issues which might spoil travel experience. Some of locks/doors broken which lead to increased noice while driving. If you not connected to 230 - TV, power sockets, heater and some of the lights inside not working - which makes you not fully mobile and force you to stop at campervan facilities. Hot water working only from gas even if you connected to 230. Door lock to home required attention. A lot of mole, probably from old pillows and curtains Juli 2024

Kevin is a really nice guy. Very helpful and responsive when I had questions on the trip. The original motorhome I rented wasn’t available last minute due to unforeseen circumstances and Kevin let me know immediately and offered a second one he had, a Mercedes motorhome. Kevin was open about the fact that it needed work doing on it and he had that planned but it hadn’t been done yet. We agreed to the swap as it was last minute rather than cancel. The motorhome was fine but definitely in need of work throughout. Many items were in need of seeing to. Having said that, we knew all of this going in so there is no fault or critisism implied, just stating the facts. Juni 2024

A great first experience in a Camper Van. There may be a few parts where Suxi is showing her age, but she had everything we needed for our family trip for four and a black lab. She drove very well (it took a while to build confidence with the width and length) as we covered 120 miles on our two-stop break in Somerset. We didn't get to use the shower as I struggled to get the water flowing properly but as we were staying on sites with showers and toilets this wasn't a problem. Kevin was a pleasure to deal with and provided telephone assistance when we struggled with a few bits and pieces. A great first experience of life in a van and I would recommend Kevin and Suxi as well as Compton Farm camp site in Clapton near Crewkerne - a small site where you are made to feel completely at home in the countryside. To be honest Kevin i don’t know how you can advertise your motorhome as thoroughly modern Mercedes with mod cons! When we turned up packed and ready to go then saw the plastic container lids taped to the above cab bed windows my heart sank,both taps in the kitchen & bathroom moved,the awning didn’t stay up,you only supplied 3 towels for 5 people & the bedding did not smell fresh. Hi Kev First thanks for letting me and my two boys use your camper, this was are 1st time in a camper and we loved the experience. Kev is a very down to earth chap and really made me feel at ease with his helpful info on how to get the best out of his camper along with the camping equipment he lets you use. Kev we loved your van,it’s o lot easier to drive than I Anticipatedand and will definitely be looking to hire it again x September 2021

The motorhome was everything as promised. Kevin was very helpful from beginning to end, with detailed instructions on how everything worked, and it was an enjoyable experience. Easy to drive and certainly a home away from home. Unfortunately Kevin was unable to ensure sunshine throughout the hire, but would definitely hire it again. Juli 2021

Beast of a machine to get around and up the hills in North Devon. Spacious and comfortable and very easy to convert at night time. Equipped with everything you need, including a reversing camera. Owner is an absolute legend, helpful, responsive, flexible and just a lovely guy. Juli 2021
