Positief: Beautiful campsite very near to Bayeux. Had a lovely pitch in one of the smaller areas quite near the pool. Only problem we had was 2 pigeons spent a lot of time in the tree above us & liked to poop on us. Put awning out for protection & this was plastered when we got home! Washed off quite easily. Would not have wanted to be on one of the pitches on the entrance to the site as very dark & shaded with traffic passing regularly. Great area for cycling. Also for visiting beaches & War Memorials. Were lucky to see the Tourde France while we were there. Restaurant & bar were fabulous Dog friendly

Kan beter: Get a peregrine or a sparrow hawk to deal with the pigeons!

Positief: The grounds and staff are wonderful, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful large pitches and facilities on site are excellent from the shop to the pool.

Kan beter: Water could be a bit on the cold side in the shower at the side of the chateau

Positief: Die Anlage ist fantastisch, die Stellplätze großzügig und offen, die Wiese ist grandios.

Kan beter: Warmes Wasser zum Spülen wäre toll.

Positief: The setting is gorgeous, pitch sizes generous. Great open spaces for the kids to play.

Positief: Super tolles Ambiente. Pool toll. Restaurant lecker.

Positief: Second time we stayed at the campsite, and enjoyed everything about it. Not the biggest site with a lot of entertainment, but all pitches are located close to the castle, and has a certain atmosphere.

Positief: Stellplatz war schön- nachdem wir allerdings getauscht haben. Restaurant hervorragend

Kan beter: Öffnungszeit Epicerie- 9:00 Uhr ist zu spät wenn man Ausflüge machen möchte…. Schlange stehen kann dadurch vermieden werden. Baguette leider verbrannt und nicht sehr schmackhaft Sanitär außerhalb vom Hauptgebäude gehört geschlossen oder dringend komplett renoviert

Positief: Family run, efficient and friendly. Good new facilities. Excellent restaurant. Well-maintained grounds. Staff presence on site. Well-managed pool.

Kan beter: Reception opened but un-manned on our arrival, we didn't know this could happen... had you said arrive after 13.30 then we would have done!

Positief: Ich habe zufällig von Les Castels über eine Facebookgruppe erfahren und spontan gebucht. Ich wollte eine Nacht bleiben, habe aber auf 3 Nächte verlängert. Mir gefällt der Platz sehr gut. Ich reise alleine und schätze meine Privatsphäre. Der Platz ist weitläufig angelegt und sehr gepflegt. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr belegt, ein kleiner Laden bietet alles was man braucht und im Restaurant wird man 7 Tage die Woche gut verköstigt. Alle Leute hier sind rücksichtsvoll und freundlich.
