Positief: The Chateau and grounds are absolutely beautiful and the rooms are large and a privilege to stay in. The breakfasts overlooking the walled garden offer a big choice. We ate at the onsite restaurant both evenings. It's very convenient and good quality and value. We enjoyed the garden, pool and tennis court. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Bayeux, D-Day beaches and Caen Ferry all nearby. We'll be back!

Positief: We have visited this multiple times since 2006 and it never disappoints. The facilities are excellent and the reception is warm. There is a huge amount of space, which was invaluable during the recent "canicule" (heatwave). Many of the pitched (not all) are shaded by mature trees. This is site for those who like a slow pace.

Positief: We liked the choice of pitches; the driveway up to the chateau was spectacular. The showers and toilets were clean and the site was kept tidy. We particularly liked the bread and pastries each morning

Positief: Die Rihe und das Gelände

Positief: We did enjoy our stay in a beautiful setting and the pool was super. We endured the hottest day on record for June so very thankful for the pool. The food in the restaurant was good with excellent service. There were a few noisy campers but that's humans for you!!

Kan beter: One thing that we feel really is an issue is the toilet disposal area. It has no screening, there is nothing to prevent a child playing there! Also no brush to clean after use and no hose to rinse your cartridge. Its just outside the shower block but very close to the restaurant windows!!! Some fence panels placed around the area to build a cordon is all that is needed to improve health and safety there.

Positief: Dieser Campingplatz ist mega ruhig und entspannend!

Kan beter: Er könnte für einen 4 Sterne Campingplatz noch etwas sauberer sein was die Waschräume angeht.

Positief: Wir waren zum zweiten Mal auf der Durchreise im Castel Camping. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich. Die Anlage weitläufig und schön angelegt. Bayeux ist mit dem Rad schnell erreichbar.

Positief: Alles war super, schöner Ort, super nette Rezeption, sehr schöner Sanitärbereich
