Positief: Our favourite campsite in France. We have visited 8 times already and booked again for 2026 We love the space, the vast walks. They way the mobiles aren’t crammed together. Love the rustic, easy going charm. Love the staff, seeing a lot of the same people year after year. Love the way the rules are enforced (re speed & noise) which makes a more relaxed experience.

Kan beter: A more varied menu in the restaurant. We love eating there but feel the menu is very limited so we tend to go to the restaurant in St Julien more often as they have an amazing menu. It can be crushing when I speak my (admittedly rusty) French to staff at the bar and they keep responding in English. I spent a year in France 27 years ago. I was completely fluent, which is gone now but I really love being able to practice for 3 weeks a year. It’s never an issue at reception, shop, small bar or restaurant just the pool/beer garden bar. Not a big deal but a small thing that would improve a stay

Positief: We enjoyed a lovely two weeks at Garangeoire this summer. The weather was a little unpredictable but there was plenty to do on site. So lovely that aside from a security deposit, the pedalos and canoes are totally free. The mini golf you can play as often as you like, again free. The restaurant is well worth a visit too. The staff on site can't do enough to help.

Kan beter: We were camping around the field which was a beautiful spot. Just one suggestion for improvement would be to please add a hand soap dispenser outside the 3 ladies toilets. There is a sink and soap in the men's toilet but only an outdoor tap close to the ladies'.

Positief: Une première expérience réussie. Notre séjour de 6 jours s'est déroulé dans un cadre magnifique. Toutes les prestations de ce camping privé sont de très grande qualité : hébergements, animations, activités, services, ... Le personnel est très disponible et fait le maximum pour répondre à nos demandes. Il est à noter le calme des zones d'hébergement situées à l'écart des animations qui peuvent se dérouler tardivement.

Positief: We love the atmosphere, the grounds, the facilities, entertainment and the friendly nature of the staff.

Positief: The campsite was exactly what we wanted. It has a laid back feel, is well maintained and has activities to take part in if that's what you want to do. The owners are actively involved in the running of the campsite and it was very evident as you could see how much they cared about the customer experience, and how this fed through to the staff who also cared. We loved the wine tasting night, a really lovely experience. Also, the raft race was great family fun and we created super memories - we'll be back next year with a better raft!

Kan beter: The sun loungers were very uncomfortable. Very difficult to lie comfortably without significant layering of towels. It would be good to add more loungers as it was often hard to find an empty one.

Positief: We loved our stay at the campsite. There is so much to do if you want to do it, you can do as much or.as.little as you want. Really friendly staff, great bar area (loved the quiz!). Pitch was great, good size and close to the toilet block. Toilets were generally clean. Swimming pool area was great and clean. The ice cream was delicious!

Kan beter: Toilets maybe need updating but they were more than fit for purpose and were cleaned regularly

Positief: We loved the woodland setting, you felt connected to nature. There was a relaxed feel throughout the campsite. Everywhere was immaculately clean. The values of the owners could be felt throughout the campsite. We loved so many things that we cannot mention them all but some are: bicycle stands conveniently placed everywhere, no WiFi at pitches, the walking tour of the campsite, the raft race, the friendliness of ALL staff, the stalls each evening, the wine tasting, the fishing and the swimming pool.

Kan beter: Perhaps extended opening hours of the shop.

Positief: La visite avec Anne. Le fast food,ainsi que l'épicerie. Les terrains de tennis.

Kan beter: Restaurant trop gastronomique pour un camping. On s'attend plus volontiers à une cuisine un peu plus classique.

Positief: Beautiful campsite, plenty to do, clean and well run. We really enjoyed the discovery walk and the wine tasting. Our children enjoyed the activities. The site has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

Kan beter: The staff were very lovely but being the start of season not all were totally confident in the systems (I had a spa booking mix up that was not resolved). We found the service to be slow in the restaurant - but the food was very good.
