Positief: Le calme, la nature

Positief: We had a wonderful holiday at this campsite. Our children are both under 10 and they were well catered for. The swimming pool was great and it is an excellent location for some of the local attractions. I recommend puy du fou and the grand défi (which is pretty much next door). Reception staff really approachable and friendly. Everything was very clean. We booked directly with the campsite which was easy.

Positief: The campsite setting is beautiful. We stayed on a premium camping pitch and the site was fantastic - large hedges separating each pitch to provide privacy. The restaurant was very impressive - delicious food of a high standard, take-away options plentiful too. The catering staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was nice to relax in the courtyard and enjoy a drink in evenings whilst the kids can play nearby.

Kan beter: The toilet/shower facilities were often very dirty (daily). Appreciate that we stayed during peak holiday season, however we stayed at other campsites during this period and the facilities on those (similar) sites were significantly cleaner. The uncovered swimming pool was also very crowded most of the time.

Positief: Camping parfait pour une famille avec des enfants (4 et 8 ans). Beaucoup d'activités, le lagon est idéal pour les jeunes enfants. Chalet entouré d'arbres... génial.

Kan beter: Les chèques vacances ne sont plus acceptés, dommage nous aurions fait plus d'activités payante et restaurant.

Positief: So helpful in arranging a pitch close to our daughter and family who were in a cabin. Loved the 60th party and the range of things we could do with our grandson. Close enough to the beach for quick visit (lots of free car parking).

Kan beter: Shame the lagoon was shut on the first really hot day and when the lake had a competition going on. Grateful that our daughter had a car so we could all go to the nearby beach.

Positief: This was the first time we've stayed in one spot for more than 7-10 nights. We could have stayed another 3 weeks easily! Really enjoyed the 60th Birthday meal celebration on the lawn and the Discovery Walk of La Garangeoire with Anne. If you've never done it, please do as you'll get a newfound appreciation for everything that's special about La Garangeoire.

Positief: The campsite itself is very clean and suitable for all ages with plenty to do during your stay. The staff and service was great and everybody is friendly. We ate at the restaurant on a number of occasions and was impressed with the food and service we received, particular thanks to Michael who couldn’t do any more to make our visit any better, also thanks to Kyle.

Kan beter: During our stay, we had a cooked chicken from the takeaway, this chicken was so tough that we had to throw it away. As you leave reception on arrival to the pitch the first dog leg bend has a blind spot and it’s not always possible to see the children (or adults!) on bikes, maybe a convex mirror would help? Not sure if already there, but solar would be a great improvement for the environment.

Positief: We liked everything really! We had the best meal of our holiday in the restaurant! It was absolutely delicious! And the service was excellent too. Friendly and helpful staff. We also thought the planting around the camp was very beautiful. Gorgeous, well tended plants. So hats off to your gardeners! And of course, the wonderful celebrations for your 60th anniversary. What a fabulous evening it was. A really lovely stay and so much to see and do. Fabulous!

Kan beter: Milk alternative for coffee ie soya, oat, coconut milk would have been good.

Kan beter: On arrival with a large touring caravan there is little or no space to pull up to check-in with out block peoples access. Please also direct/escort large touring units via the larger roadway as to try and manoeuvre around some of the corners is near impossible
