Positief: The site was very clean and well maintained. We also liked being so close to the village and many options for scenic walks and outings. Staff were very friendly.

Kan beter: As we were there early in the season the pool and restaurant weren’t open which we hadn’t realised until we arrived.

Positief: Clean, friendly Staff, super location.

Kan beter: Water in the shower took a long time to heat up.

Positief: Super campsite with a lot of detail thought about to make it a great place for camping.

Kan beter: Nothing I can think of. Unless you can move the Alps and herds of wildebeest strolling across the fields into the scenery….

Positief: We love it here and have been many times, it never fails to please. Immaculate site, full of mature trees, good sized pitches (ours right next to the Loire), with great facilities - spotless shower block/loos with nearby composting and waste facilities, laundry, wifi, chickens and herbs!, great nearby local shops, very interesting place and handy for big towns like Saumur and Chinon.

Positief: The campsite was very peaceful and tidy. The staff were very friendly and we ate in the Restaurant and the food was good. The Abbey and the village square is only a few minutes walk away with a market on Sunday. Next time we visit we will also be making a trip to Saumur, which is around 13 miles away.

Kan beter: A number of the showers were out of use, so it could get little busy
