Positief: Beautiful campsite surrounding a charming castle. The campsite has quite a few pitches, but never feels like a large campsite due to the pitches and other accomodations being so spread out. The saturday evening bbq is wonderful. So was casino night.

Kan beter: We went wakeboarding, as offered by the campsite on their entertainment board. We met a reception at the agreed time. In the end we were just given the address of where to go. We drove ourselves, and made our own booking for the normal price. What was the point of this being 'organised' by the campsite? We would have preferred to go by ourselves at a time of our choosing.

Positief: L‘atmospere, les emplacement spacieux (le vert), la piscine froide, le chateau, le bar …

Positief: Stayed two nights at this site. Lovely site, warm welcome & good pitch. On our first night visitors were invited to join in the sites celebrations of Bastille Day . Other social events were organised but as we were only there two days we were unable to partake. The site offers a bar and restaurant which was very popular. Facilities were clean & well-maintained.. Seating areas are arranged at various points around the Chateau for relaxing & socialising.

Positief: We love Chanteloup and have been coming for many years. Valerie and Benoit are super hosts and the site is fantastic, we love it there!

Kan beter: The toilets are ready for an overhaul (lots of loose seats etc) I think and could do with being cleaned a bit more often, and the shower water wasn't always hot. The pool surround is also in need of some repairs. The on site shop is better than last year but could still do with some more stock.

Positief: We have been coming here for years and despite missing Dominique & Jean-William we feel that the new owners (Benoit & Valerie - 3 years now !) have kept it to the high stands from before and have even improved quite a few of the facilities

Kan beter: Only because I work from the motorhome the wifi could be a bit more stable!

Positief: Swimming pool Table tennis On-site restaurant, bar and shop Helpful and friendly staff

Kan beter: There are landfill bins dotted around the site. It would be good if there were also recycling bins around the site too to encourage and enable easy recycling

Positief: Die Anlage mit dem Schloss ist wunderschön. Es gibt ein Schwimmbad, einen Angelteich und viel Platz. Die WC Anlage und Dusche sind in Ordnung. Ganz toll gelegen mit viel Charme. Waren nur eine Nacht, aber die war super..

Positief: Little villages within the huge Camping Place. A very social Concept. Remembers modern Development of cities.

Kan beter: The showers and toilettes are pretty poor…

Positief: A lovely stay in this beautiful campsite! I had visited when I was younger so was pleased to see that the character of Chanteloup was still the same but with many improvements too! A very relaxed campsite with plenty of activities to keep kids busy. The entertainment offered was excellent! The staff/ dream team were very welcoming. A very welcoming campsite!

Kan beter: More bins for recycling around the campsite to make it easier to sort waste. Also better signage on what should go into each bin to make it clearer.
