Me and Pete we’re hiring the Bongo to do the NC500 Scotland. It is a compact little camper. For 2 people is fine. Margaret and Chris are very helpful and have the Van full of little extras.
It is clean and tidy. We had a lovely holiday with usual unpredictable Scottish weather.
Margaret was a great host she was great with communication from the outset even when we had a slight panic about facilities on our route Margaret straight away sent us lots of links and tips! The handover and return was seamless we thoroughly enjoyed our road trip in their camper and highly recommend them to anyone keen on completing the north coast 500!!
Such a great little van. Really easy to drive. Margaret was great! So helpful with everything. Highly recommend
Goboony site was easy to use and a good selection of vans
I had excellent communication from my owners and she kindly picked me up from the bus station to collect the van and dropped me off at the end
The van was clean and well equipped
Thoroughly recommend the site
It was excellent! Perfect for my needs!
Margaret was so helpful and pulled out all the stops to set this up for me at very short
notice. I would highly recommend.
Margaret and Chris were brilliant at communicating with us. The campervan packs a lot of features in its compact space. We managed to see extraordinary places on the NC500 that would have been impossible for us to reach otherwise. Great value for money too:)
Margaret and Chris are a very nice and helpful couple. We had some problems with a sleep apnea device and they have done a lot to help us.
The camper did well, you can easily get around with it and was clean. Only the bed was a bit too narrow.
Thankyou so much for use of the bongo ! Superbly stocked, and thoughtful touches made our stay enjoyable and very easy ! If we dont buy our own soon, we ll definately be in touch again for another stay ☺highly recommend
Me and my mate rented Margaret’s Bongo campervan for a week at the end of june 2018 for touring the Ilse of Skye. We are super positive about the Bongo and the contact with Margaret. That started with making arrangements about the pickup- and drop off place, well organized and on time. Margaret’s son in law John managed to make an extra connection on site to the luxury battery ‘McGyver style’.
All week the 2,5 liter diesel 4x4 engine with automatic gear went smoothly through the hills of Skye, making use of the two extra low gears. The size of the Bongo makes it easy to travel the single track roads, comparing to the numbers of big campers that are coursing traffic jams. The Bongo is suitable for two big guys. The space in the folding top is big enough for a 1,90 meter person to sleep (with little comfort dough). The kitchen has enough facilities to prepare a lobser dinner! Becourse of the size the not much storing space, so travel light!
Overall we will definitely recommend Margaret and the Bongo to everyone. We also like to thank John and Chris for making us feel welcome in Scotland. Slàinte mhath!
