Ayub van Wildeweg breathes authenticity and personality and you can't let that go. Furnished with love and attention to every detail. That also became clear with the extensive briefing and demo ride that we received at the start of our adventure. We also felt a real click with Lore and Johannes, then you immediately know that things are going well. It seems tough, but if you start slowly and build up the kilometers, a bond is formed and its dimensions no longer inspire fear. Ayub always makes for a positively dramatic entrance wherever you go. Whether we were on a campsite, on the edge of a forest or on the beach: Ayub worked its magic and gave us that indelible home-away-from-home feeling. The versatility and efficiency of the interior also deserve kudos. Ayub always had room for our three weeks of clutter. Such a period in the company of Ayub; that gets under your skin in a positive way. Some even say we whispered something loving to him the last time we cranked his engine. A unique way of traveling with this beautiful converted fire truck. Slow living is automatic with Ayub as a travel partner. The clear explanation before we left, the honest and cordial communication with Johannes and Lore made it all complete.

Hi! We are now 1 week further, and we are still enjoying our holiday with Ayub. Together with another befriended couple we rented Ayub and sister Selma. Together in slow motion to Austria... There was something powerful about it! You don't opt for comfort, but for character, authenticity, simply something special and unique. Everything is there to completely relax once you are parked. Lore and Johannes are also super helpful if we had any questions, in short, the perfect landlords. They really radiate the passion for their oldies! Really great!!

Dear Ayub, Wow! We were allowed to go to Normandy together with Ayub and he was the most charming traveling companion of our group. Our trip wouldn't have been the same without him. Gps on 'Avoid toll roads' and then cruise at max 80 km/h through the fields and the setting sun on the horizon. We wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Inside you can see that his owners take good care of him. They used it themselves for their travels and put all their heart and soul into this project. You can see that they have thought about everything. A rubbish bin that sticks upside down in the cupboard so that the drawer does not block, handles they made themselves (from original bus materials), travel books in the pocket of the passenger seat... to give a few examples. Attention to detail. And above all: with the right standards and values in mind: slow down, relax and put yourself in a small parking lot with two chairs and a table and enjoy all those beautiful views along the way. Appreciating little things and realizing that a simple life in an old army bus is not wrong after all! Ayub, fare well! Let yourself be well taken care of and see you in a twist!
